It is a cold night, no one is on the road, all is quiet, not even the cricket makes noise.

Then...a sound from within the forest is heard. It is the sound of metal on rock. Looking into the sea of trees, you see a cloaked man, his blade held high, he strikes the rock again. The rock faintly glows blue. Then a voice is heard, not from the man but from the forest.

"Master...I sense your presence, but not your body."

The man takes out a crystal dagger, a black cloud swirls within.

"It is I, yes, I have lost my body, but vessels work just as well, I am still alive, my spirit and will live on. Gregyon, give me the key you were given. It is time to open the portal, the army is ready, the conquest will begin. Where Ganon failed, I will triumph."

The man takes up the dagger, and plunges it into his heart after a scream, the man reaches out his hand.

The rock changes shape into a man made of rock, in his hand a crystal key is held, the man takes it up, then takes out the dagger.

The dagger speaks.

"Now, my friend that will happen one more time, then, Marin, will Daret be given back."

The man speaks.

"Thank you, Deoxolips, thank you."

The man and the rock walk deeper into the forest, only to dissapeer within.

You may be able to find them if you chase after them, they are not mounted and are walking.

Waddles crouches down very low as he hears them speak and then retreat away. He slowly begins to advance forward, but catches himself before he moves any farther. He checks left and right and closely ahead for any danger of being heard before he attempts to continue.

OOC: You see no danger, just some forest creatures running away from the rock.

As you wait, you hear the voice of the man, he is yelling.


"Did you not hear him you filthy scrub! He said move!"

A squeky voice is heard

"Never! I wont fail to my king, you may not touch this gate!"

The man again

"He has ordered your executin...scrub."

You hear a blade fly across wood, a small shreek, and a small thump on the ground.

OOC Well, I don't really know what to do. If I try to fight I'll lose with the small amount of stat build up I have...

IC Waddles runs into the clearing at the sound of such violence. Keeping a distance not reachable by a single strike, Waddles addresses the man. Wlthough his back is aginst him, Waddles senses something strangely familiar about the figure's shape and presence.
"The guard only insisted in his duties. He could have been easily spared. But, although you do seem a bit uncivilized to be in my company, I have the strangest feeling that I have had the displeasure of meeting you before. Show yourself!"
Waddles waits for the response.

The man turns in Waddles direction.

"This is not your fight!"

He draws a bow and fires an arrow at Waddles.

KockyKo jumps in to help. Seeing Waddles being fired at, he takes his staff and quickly attempts to bash the firer across the head. Then he backs away to safety.

"What's the idea here, chump?!"

Waddles, being severely injured by the shot, retreats and performs an incredibly draining spell. Favor of the Goddesses, to heal himself. After a quick recovery, He regains his ground and stares angrily into the eyes of his foe.

The man's hood covers his face, in the dark light, he canot see your face.

"Fools! You dont understand! Ive had everything taken away from me! Now leave me be! Deoxolips can help me, he is powerful, unlike you. Now, begone!"

A deku bow is drawn, two arrows in, one aimed at Waddles and the other at Kocky.

Waddles thinks to himself... I know this man. "Is that you Marin, or perhaps Denning? Whoever you are, you must know that Deoxolips will use you, not help you. Please, reason with me here."
Waddles has his doubts as to whether this fellow will consider reasoning or not, and so he draws his staff cautiously, ready for the reply.

The man stares at Waddles, then lowers his bow.

"You! Your Waddles arnt you! Well, sorry about that, thought you were one of my enemys. Those Deku are so annoying, taking what belongs to him, trying to stop the man who can save...er ive said to much. Waddles those deku deserved what they got, they stood in the way and so were cuy down, please understand, I need what this will give me! Ive lost all other family, Sofia, mom, dad, but Daret is not all lost, he can save him, he knew him, he is an enemy of the Gorson, and so is my friend, as are you. So please, do not get in the way of him, or me."

"You speak now of Deoxolips as a friend? Was Daret not you brother, or am I mistaken? This demon has already taken you over, just as he has Denning and Daret, and you still believe it within his power to revive Daret? Not only is it dangerous, but it is nearly foolish to put so much trust into the hands of one so powerful in the dark forces. You musn't be rash... I will accompany you along wherever you plan to venture, and it would be unwise to try and prevent me. You need someone to guide you, to keep you on the right path. And you are much more vulnerable alone than with a friend. What do you say?"

"I need not your guidence, what I am doing is what I will do, Deoxolips is not in me!"

Marin pulls out the dagger.

"He is here. Do not worry freind, I will be fine, and this portal to the key is only passable by demons, demons like Deoxolips."

Denning stabs the dagger into his leg, the dark cloud goes within him and he stops his scream.

"Well twas a plesure, Waddles, now I must be going, perhaps later we can chat!"

Marin climbs into a large, flat black void, it is in the cove which the deku were guarding, as he enters, it solidifies itself, as it was in the presence of Marin.

"Waddles, if you need help, seek me out, Deoxolips can help."

The voice repets itself getting smaller every time until it is done.

Waddles is confused by the apparent dissappearance of Marin through such a passage. He thinks for a moment and feels around on the wall for a bit, where Marin had entered. Realizing Marin's words, Waddles leaves his place at the wall, sure that truly only a demon would be able to enter such a port hole. Waddles shakes his head in dissapointment and turns his back to slowly walk away.
"Marin... what have you gotten yourself into...?"

kasei has been watching the whole encounter from the shadows, ready to interfear, his master will want to know about this...
