As you walk through the beautiful sanctuary of New Peaktop, Moon light flitters through the pilars as you walk. The full moon is very bright and very big on the peak of the mountain... All of a sudden you notice light flittering out the cracks of a wooden door beneath your feet. You hear muffled voices, as the door swings open. A tiny Rito head pops out of the door. He turns and sees you. AAHHHHHH!! He screams his head off and slams the door shut. then the door swings open and you hear the voice of a young rito. Its a monster mister samurai! kill it kill it! Another head comes up out of the door. This time you notice its Dogura. Dogura sees you, and wipes the sweat from his forehead. Oh! hello! I had a scary notion it would be Zartin! hahaha. Glad to see you are up to the challenge! Come on in! There is some hay to sit on, and the young ritos brought us new peaktops speacial cookies and some lon-lon milk! Help yourself! As you look around you see there are many Rito childeren, and an older Rito. There is nothing to light the underground room, but a carisene lamp, and a couple of candles. The Rito childeren focus thier eyes on you. Hey mister! are you going to help the nice samurai man beat the monster? Wow! your real tough and brave! All of the little childeren whisper to eachother as you sit on a bale of hay. So, do you have any information on Zartin? Dogura asks you.

I found an old book during a stay at the Stock Pot Inn. A good read. Deals with warlock defeats in the past, the tactics to use, useful spells and weapons, and the like. The clerk wouldn't let me take it. But I gathered this much.

Zartin is the heir to Ganondorf Dragmire, correct? But Ganon is still around, just not in a truly alive state... at this time. So Zartin could in no way possess the Triforce of Power. As known in Hylian folklore.. no, history... Ganon was defeated by the other two Triforce bearers, or at least he was at a few points in his times. We may not be Heroes of Time or Princesses of Destiny, but you, Hiro and I are well-learned killers and fighters. To kill a warlock... one must simply deflect the magic used. It's like fighting fire with fire, that whole concept. Or hot potato, if that will help you remember.

Anyway, you recall the ancient story of Agahnim, the devious wizard traitor? He was much the same. His magic, deflected into him, was the key to his defeat. Zartin will fall much the same way. But, we can not deflect his magic. It is too poweful. If, however, we pool out forces, we will have the strength. We should wait until Hiro returns, he should have a good plan, as always, to pull us through that particular quandary.

Blank huffs and pants from speaking for so long without rest. He slumps into a chair and sleeps.

Exelent! Great work Blank! you never dissapoint! Anyways ive heard that Zartin plans to destroy Farores oracle. If Farore is angered, there will surely be devistating winds! The Downpour will continue until Nayru is avenged. Im not sure why Zartin is asassinating the godesses oracles. Perhaps Hiro will have some information on that. As you may already know, the shrine of Farore is not far from here! Down in the vast fields of hyrule, in the middle of a grassy plain, Farore's shrine stands tall! We will venture there next. However we will spend the night here. Dogura turns to the Rio across the room. Darkin has decided to join us! He is very loyal to the godesses. He also has some information to share. Darkin will you please explain, in big words that the Rito childeren will not understand, as not to frighten them.

Of course. Nice to see you in one piece Blank! how have you been! Anyways, Ive heard that Din's Shrine is located in Parappa desert. It is most certainly Zartins next target, if he sucesds in killing Farores oracle. If Din's oracle is destroyed, there will most certaily be massive earth quakes, and land slides! Also, You say to kill a warlock, you must deflect his magic back twords him. However you forget, that in both of your examples, To deflect the magic, the sword wielded was the Legendary Sword of Evils Bane. We do not have that in our possesion. We will need to formulate some sort of plan.
The young Rito looked at eachother wide eyed! EARTHQUAKES???!! WAAAAAAAAAAHHH! they scream! Way to go Darkin, mutters Dogura. Darkin looks at the pitiful childeren. FEAR NOT YOUNG RITO!! Darkin screams in his most heroic voice. We will destroy the monster before any of this happens! You have a fellow Rito's word! They all slightly smiled. You guys wont let him hurt us will you? Most certainly not! Dogura said. Most certainly not...

Hiro busts in, sword drawn and covered in blood. "Got attacked by a demon... and I brought something!" Hiro draws out 7 wineskins, each filled to the brim with Incineran ale. "Incineran Ale, the strongest stuff in the world." Hiro sets them down, Filling a couple mugs with it. Hiro hands them out to Dogura, Darkin, and Blank. "Now, what were you saying? Something about the sword of evils bane? What the hell is that?"

OOC: Hiro is Incineran, so he doesn't know the goddesses and the triforce and the master sword...

Upon mention of ale, espcially imported ale, Blank snaps back into full concetration.
Oh, er... forgot to mention, Hiro has not learned of the exploits of the Hero of Time and all that... come to think of it, I'm not sure when I picked up that knowledge. But, a little beer in my stomach oughtta help me think of something.

Blank drinks the fine ale and bushes his mouth dry, then sets the mug down and sighs.

Must I really explain old Hylian legends? We aren't going to find the Blade of Evil's Bane any time soon, so I think we can save some time by just moving on. What we need is a spell capable of reflecting magic upon impact. What was it called... Oh yeah! It was called "Reflect." Attaining the spell is a different story. Hiro, I'm no tsureof how far your magical training expands to. But I do not know Reflect, and I solemnly doubt Dogura or the featherbag Darkin will have access to the spell at this point either. Until we learn it, we'll just have to go to this shrine. But tomorrow. Until then... drink up, boys.

Dogura looks at the drink, and says. One of us must stay sober, incase of an attack. He hands it to Darkin, Who was standing up for some reason. Then Dogura knew.. FEATHER BAG?!?!?! WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET OFF CALLING ME A FEATHER BAG, COFFIN BOY!! Now lets calm down! Says Dogura sharply. If we are going to kill eachother, It will be over somthing much more dire than feather bag!! Then Dogura hears a whimper. He slowly turns to see the young rito childeren still in the corner of the room. Then they look at the beer, and then says. K-KILL EACHOTHER?!?!?!? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! What have we done? mutters dogura. THATS IT!! yells Darkin. hold your breath guys, he whispers to Dogura, Blank, and Hiro. He spreads his wings and a purple mist fills the room. The childeren instantly hit the floor snoring like crazy! He then opens up the latch and lets it filter out. He turns with a grin. Heh heh... Sleep spell. harmless, but effective! Hahaha! Im mostly a mage. I know all kinds of spells. And as for Blank... All is forgivin ma' friend! Darkin then says, We should stay the night here. He goes over to a big pile of hay. DIBS! And then he jumped in the hey, and casts a sleep spell on himself. Then Dogura turns to Blank, and Hiro. What do you say, we draw on featherbags beak? He pulls out a paint brush, and smiles.

"way ahead of yah, dude!" Hiro is scribbling on not only his beak, but his entire face. "Hahahahaha! now THAT'S funny!" Hiro drew a pair of glasses over his eyes and the words "Woo hoo! I'm a featherbag!" were written all over his beak. "Well, I don't know reflect, but I do know magic knockback, absorb, power switch... So I don't think you need reflect..."

Well they will be most helpful! Im going to try to find a few more spells. I recently bought a life scroll, so now i can grant you guys life when most needed. Ill see if i can find reflect in a couple of old books that Darkin brought. Dogura shufffles around under the table, and props a few books on the Table. Ill read what i can. For now, I want you to go to Farores shrine, and watch over her oracle. If Zartin shows up, You are to fight until breath leaves your body. I will be there as soon as i possibly can. Blank im leaving it up to you for now, to lead Hiro down to Farores shrine.

OOC: Blank ill PM you on where farores shrine is. As for you Hiro, follow blank. When you get there, i will post as Zartin, and play his role.

"Okay, that'll be good. The only fighting I'll be doing tonight is against Darkin when he wakes up. He won't be plesed..." Hiro props himself up against his sword, and sleeps, with his Shard shining and protecting him with an aura of flames. That ale knocked him out!

OOC: So how exactly am I to follow him? Someone spilled tea on my m key, so it's messed up. It stll works, but not well.

OOC : Just show up the shrine? I dunno... It really isn't too hard to find.

The sun is lost from view, the hour is late. Blank's mind races back and forth between mysterious events that have occurred recently. Focusing on this particular pitfall, he dreams of strategies and plans to defeat his latest enemy. Well... it might not even come to that. Hiro knows several techniques to counter whatever magic the "heir" could administer.

He awakens first in the morning, prepared to march to the shrine whenever Hiro and Dogura (and Darkin, should he wish to show his new face in public) are ready to leave. Blank has a strange distaste for New Peaktop. He will definitely be glad to leave.

OOC : So, if Zartin is Ganon's heir, then what is the New King? (NPC in Parapa Desert)

Dogura awoke, and imediately sat, up and cracked open the book. When Darkin, and Hiro wake up, you should(*yawn*) aww you know what i mean...
OOC: what NPC? did you post one? and yeah the new king of parapa did not interest me, PM me.

Hiro wakes, and the orb of fire dissipates. "Yawn... why do I suffer? Why is there no more ale? O my song of sorrow..." Hiro is obviously still drunk. Being only 23, his body is not ready for such consumption. "Hey, when's Darkin gonna wake up? I wana see what he looks like when his feathers are on fire... hic.."

Darkin, rolls over, and then he sits up. Dogura, did you burn breakfast again? Dogura looks at Darkin. I dont cook and you know that, and yes breakfast would be burning if we were to have chicken for dinner. Huh? What do you me-HOLY COW!!! He casts a water spell on his burning tail feathers. Forgot i was a mage didnt ya! HA! I always get the last laugh! He says this as he climbs out of the den. He quickly returns, the marker smeared on his face. He must have tried to wipe it off. scowling at Hiro and Dogura, he says, Very funny guys. Always the last laugh huh? Dogura remarks with a smirk as he turns back to his book. Hey where's Blank? Darkin asked. He left for Farore's shrine. Dogura replies. Hiro you should be on your way as well. Ill meet you there when i find somthing out. Darkin, you go seek the spell reflect. WHAT??? Darkin shouted out of suprise. THATS LIKE A SUPER RARE SPELL!! THATS LIKE A 1 IN A BILLION CHANCE!! Dogura glares at Darkin. Are you saying you are too scared to go look for one dumb spell? What happened to the all powerful mage I heard of? WHAT?! Darkin yells yet again. Ill take those odds! Darkin says with a confident smile, as he flies out the den. Dogura jots something down on paper, as he says, you best be on your way Hiro. Blank is most likely half way there by now. Ill see you all later.

"Okay, then. See ya later!" Hiro opens the trapdoor and rockets off in a jet of fire.
