Blank and his men headed east, and witnessed the enemies coming closer. They were moving faster than they ahould; this would allow Blank's company to have the advantage charge. A soldier stood beside Blank, and asked him what he should do, fear obviously burning in his face.

OOC: What orders? This area is your fight. Big Bro, you do as Blank says, and you'll be able to survive... unless he betrays us, but that likely won't happen.

Blank casts his gaze on the oncoming onslaught of bandits, calculating the possible losses of a full frontal charge. It seems to risky to him, so he instead decides to resort to Tactical Warfare, utilising strategies that he knew all too well from his days in the Calatia Campaign. Behind him, his force of 148 men, mostly melee fighters, stands waiting for his orders. Of the men, there are approximately 15 archers.

Archers, I want one of each of you to stand on the roof of every building in this Trade Quarter. The rest will stay here to defend our melee warriors from enemy attacks, especially ones from behind. Melee fighters, I want 30 of you to make your way east to meet the enemy from the side. Another 30 will do the same, but from the West. The remainder will enact a full frontal assault on the enemy. Pair up, soldiers. The archers will not be able to defend you from every attack. Your duty is to keep the enemy at bay while keeping yourselves alive. But in the event of an ally falling in battle, do not stop. Continue the charge!

The famous Pincer Attack is best used in plains and forested areas. Blank hopes that it will prove useful in an urban environment as well. Too many men will be lost if the tactic fails, and the nomad will have to resort to weaker movements in the event of this happening. Still, Blank has great faith that the archers will be able to defend the ground level warriors in the close confines of the town.

There is a rumble of hooves and a flurry of dust behind Blank's army
Raru and his army come charging to the aid of the others
Raru holds his sword above his head and the sword glows
he shouts " Flee bandits for i am the hero of light"
Raru and his army charge across the brow of the hill behind Blank's army

OOC: WHAAA?!?!?!? Ok, Raru, could you please edit that a bit? Please look at the following picture...

R= Ruto Town
B=Blank's company
Y=Your army
E= Bandits

R B E E E E E E E E Y Y Y Y Y Y
R B E E E E E E E E Y Y Y Y Y Y

The battle is more than just saying you did something; you need to use tactics and skill for this one. For all you know, Ruto could fall. I'm not going to go easy; I'll make it as though I were the bandits. OK? If you want to be of sudden aid, make a good plan. Give your orders for your soldiers, Raru, but be sure not to just say that you killed them off. That will be my job if it is to happen. Right now, your at the other end of the bandits, being that there is nothing west but mountains seporating Hyrule and Calatia, and the to the south the NBorth-South Passage is blocked until later, and only a mounatin is north, so Therefore you come from the east, but the bandits are already at the east, so you'll have to fight through them.

IC: As Blank's men move to their possisions, he sees something passed the bandits. Renforcements? Why would Nogare summon renforcements and not told them? No matter, it will make the fight easier.

Blank's men were ready, and the fight was about to start. He held his sword fast. The men charged, and archers climbed onto the building tops, but not all could make it up before a volley of flaming arrows came, and killed several. The soldier to Blank's right was shot through the neck, and was instyantly into flames. Blank did not turn his gaze away from the coming axis, though. He charged. The enemy was about half as far as the stairs up the Rito Mountain. The buildings were beginning to burn as the Hylian noticed that they were out numbered. In the Charge, there were 73 o his side, but there were easily 100 in the other side. An arrow wizzed passed Blank's head, and hit the man's horse behind him. The cry of agony made Blank's blood run cold. They were close, now. The bandits were of Zola, Moblins, Stalfos, Daria, Hinox, Geru (Lizalfos, in common), Lynel, Wizards (almost Wizzorbe), even Some Hylians and heikah, with a few Gorons. It was when Blank refocused that the two armies colided. Blank was in front. He as lucky enough to hit the weaker part of the enemy's company. Cries of pain and yelps were produced, and more of the bandits fell at first, mostly from Blank. Bit once Blank had knocked the head off of the 16th, a massive Stalfos came, bigger than the rest, who bore a sword and sheild, and was mostly tepping on the knights below. One man yelled, "SUTARUFON!!"

Stalfos Master.

Where had they come up with such beasts?! They had to have been from the South. Where else?! Blank road his horse, leaning forward, and used both his sword and the edges of his sheild to slice it's legs. It only left a small cut. It was made of bone, so it likely didn't feel anything. The Knights began to Flee, buyt some resisted for a while.

Blank knew he woul not stand a chance to so many. They had still about 60. They would never survive. Archers shot from the hpusetops, mainly at the stalfos Master, but, but archers soon pegged out the last of the archers.

"Master Blank!" Cried one of his men, "We don't stand a chance. We must flee. Give order, and we will surive."

Meanwhile, a light shone from the other end of the quarl. The Raru's army charged at the bandits, and many flew back. One of them cried, "Flee bandits for I am the hero of light!" The bandits turned, and one, a Hylian, cried, "Magarime! Tame arata guntai!" (Turn! To New Army!). Instantly, they did as he said. Half did, anyway, the rest continued to charge for Blank's few men left.

Then two things happened at once; The Stalfos Faced raru's team, who had a volley of arrows upon him. He cried in pain as one his neck. There were easily more than 50 arrows stuck in the monstrosity. He kicked any of the coming soldiers. Had no weapon, though. He obviosly didn't need one, in his eyes. When his horse was hit with an arrow, he flew off, and dived at a dead Lizalfos. He lifted the sword, and began to fight off the enemies that came at him. He fought bravely, trying his best to focus, but he still was not able to handle all 5. One of his men who had been shot, a well built man, came, with an arrow already him, and snapped one of their heads. Another was decapitated, but the another thrust a sword at him, and he fell to the ground dead. An archer shot an arrow into one's back. It continued like this for a while, but it was during this time that Blnk answered his soldier's plea.

OOC: What do we do? It's up to you, fellow RPer. :) Shall you continue the fight, or flee? Or seppuku? (Hylian Ritual suiside, done when you know you are defeated, or you let someonbe you care abpit down, you do the honourable thing and jab your sword into your stomach, slice it up so it makes a 90 degree stab, and then get somebody else to cut off your head. :D)

Raru started to scream orders
"Right, Archers take them from the right, swords men take them from the left, heavy cavalry take them from the hyrulian side and spear mean take them head on"
he rode past the spear men banging their spears with his sword and came round and stood infront of the heavy cavalry
he pointed his sword towards the sky ready to charge
he dropped it down and pointed it forward
his sword glowed
"CHARGE" he screamed

Seeing the forces he was tasked to command falling like easy targets, Blank is almost compelled to turn from the battle and flee, an option that would save the remainder of his diminished company. But he knows that if he does not hold the bandits from breaching the town, many more will be killed. As his last archer is felled by the bandit bowmen, he curses and thrusts his sword forward, preparing to charge the mighty Master Stalfos that has already laid waste to his soldiers.

The nomad orders ten of his melee fighters to take the positions the archers had been holding. He also commands them to take up their fallen comrades' bows and try their best to use the eloquent projectile weapons. He specifically chooses the weaker of his militia to enact this task, as the stronger men will be useful in his second battle plan.

The primary tactic at this point is to have the new archers defend the melee fighters as the previous archers had done, while this time laying low to avoid enemy fire. They would construct simple barriers on the rooftops to shield their bodies from enemy volleys of arrows, while still holding an advantage on the bandits in the open below. The secondary tactic - assuming the primary is as successful as Blank hopes - is to have the remainder of the melee fighters assault the incredible Master Stalfos, weaving in and around him to attack from behind, rendering the colossal beast helpless to attack them. If the skeletal monster can make a successful attack, the melee fighters will be wiped out. An attack from behind is entirely necessary. Blank will be assisting in the attack all the while, lending his sword skills to the melee fighters as they valiantly attempt to bring down the strongest of the bandits' minions.

OOC: OK, I've finally gotten to this. I know you've been waiting for a long time, and I'm sorry for that, but I can get back to this now. :D

IC: Blank's plan was going to be a challenge. But it was a risk that must be taken. Many of his forces were already behind the Stalfos Knight, but many were before it, as well. Some who were before the beast began to retreat, but some held their ground. Some of the bandits were already beyond Blank's army, and were in the town, but some turned from the feild and went into the town to fight there. Blank road fast behind the stalfos Knight, and was able to jump and stick his sword into it's leg before he was killed by a creature that brawled on his horse, which would have killed him instantly. The Stalfos Knight seemed not to notice, but seeing Blank, he continued to run, but faster. It was almost in the town! Blank held fast to the creature, and climbed it as fast as he could. He saw the six of the ten new archers dead. They were terrible aim; being told to defend themselves with a weapon they had never used before was difficult. But Blank needed to kill the beast before it reached the town. And what ate his horse?! He saw a wolf beast with droul puring from it's mouth. He didn't have time to think of that; he just needed to kill the beast. He climbed harder now. He was on it's shoulder. The feeling was likely one that felt weirder than anything else; a massive skull turning toward you, with eyes, and a great shreik exploding in your ears when it sees you. As fast as he could, Blank hacked at it's neck. Blood spilled from the bone. He chopped again, and again. The beast seemed to be now standing, trying to swat the Hylian off of his shoulder. He held his ground, and as a bony hand hit him with great force, he stuck his sword into the shoulder of his foe, to stay on it. Blood now cover both knights. Blank was sure to jump back on, ignoring the pain in his back and his his ears, and made a final effort to annialate the beast, and, grusomely, the head of the Stalfos Knight fell, landing on a few fighters below, some from both teams. Unable to bear the pain of his back, now, he fell uncountius. 10 feet he fell, and, with at least some luck, landed on the corspes of some dead creature, stopping the force of the fall.

Meanwhile, Raru was fighting for his life. The crowd around him was now less, but now only few of his men were left. 30 remained at most. But, seeing Blank falling from the decapitated Stalfos Knight, he saw the same beast that killed Blank's horse, about to brawl on the Nomad. Raru, with great effort, threw hi dagger at the beast. Although not as skilled with blade, his throwing aim was amazingly acurate. It pireced the beast between the eyes. His men continued to fight the remainder of the bandits, which were still about 45, and and were focused on defending their leader, Raru. The Hylian Mage continued to fight. He just parried a foes attack before it beheaded him. Just then, the battle seemed almost lonely... There was no one attacking him; instead his men, with Blank's, finished the fight. The last of the bandits began to retreat, only to be slaughtered by one of their enemies. Now, only dead bodies of countless races lay on the flatland floor. Raru was lucky to not be injored, but Blank needed one desperately. He was still alive, but was a the edge of the Cliff of Life.
