Lady Rose came upon a cloaked figure at the edge of Tantari desert. "Rose, I've been waiting for you," he said. "Veran learned you survive. She asks that you do her a favor and let me kill you."

Lady Rose laughed. "I don't think I will," Lady Rose said. "How about you tell me where I can find Veran."

"You are as foolish as Veran says. That's why I'm going to say Veran is in her favorite setting. It's a pity you ran away from home. Maybe you would've stayed home like a good little girl, then."

The figure pulls out a sword and rushes toward Lady Rose, but she sidesteps him and slashes at him. The cloak falls limp.

Cloud had tried to come earlier but he was...prolonged. He came right as Lady Rose slashed the figure.

Lady Rose! Did you kill him?

Cloud looked down at the figure on the ground.

Lady Rose picked up the cloak and bones fell out. "A Stalfos," she said. "Goddesses, I hate them. What is Veran's favorite setting?" she asked more to herself. "Probably where there is a lot of men."

Cloud and Lady Rose both knew it was mainly bars where men hung out, and if the name Lady Rose called Veran was true, she would prefer drunk men.

That has to be it, a bar. Where else would a man go?

Cloud smiled. He himself had spent some time in bars. He wasn't a regular customer, but still.

"That seems so obvious," Lady Rose said. She sighed. "But it's the best we have right now. Which bar should we try?"

Cloud drew a couple X's on the ground and had Strato label each in his head. He pulled out his bow and arrow and shot into the air with his eyes shut. the arrow came down on the X third from the left.

Uhh, that one is the Ornery Cuckoo.
