The Golden Ones
The History of the Goldforce, as told by Master Zaris:
"I am sure you know of the Triforce, and of the Sacred Realm that it inhabits. It is said that long ago Ganon became ruler of that world, and that one of the Heroes traveled into that land of the goddesses to defeat him. He succeeded, took the Triforce as his own, then returned to our world. As time passed the portals into that land began to fade as the evil within it vanished.
"That right there can be found in the history books. I'm sure you've already heard that story many times. But the tale of the Sacred Realm did not end there, I'm afraid.
"Not long after the portals began to dissipate, a group of the most powerful mages in the entire world came together. They did not believe that the Triforce was the only secret to be found in the Sacred Realm of the goddesses. No, they thought that it contained much more: limitless strength, ultimate magic, boundless knowledge . . . perhaps enough for them to become gods themselves. So using their own near-endless magic, they created a new portal to that Realm.
"I do not know what they found when they explored the Sacred Realm. But they were righteous men, not selfish or greedy. They sought after the things I mentioned merely so they could know whether or not it was there. Whatever happened, upon their return they immediately attempted to destroy their creation. But they could not. Its power had gone far beyond what they could control.
"Unable to destroy it, they instead split the portal into multiple pieces. And that is how the Goldforce Powers came into existence - they are the result of the division of the portal.
"The mages kept the Powers a close-guarded secret, unwilling to share its knowledge with even the Royal Family. Instead they used their magic to seek out the strongest and most righteous warriors from each race. After explaining the situation, these warriors took the Powers into themselves. Slowly, the Powers evolved into their current forms of mighty weapons, meant to aid their bearer in keeping the Powers safe."

The Golden Ones of Today
Golden Rito: Horohn
Male (dead)
Horohn was a relatively new Golden One, but he understood his duty well. After his wife was killed by the Hakiems Tribe, he took his three year old daughter, Calla, to safety. While Zaris led Zaboorak away from he and his daughter, Horohn watched Calla grow up into a kind Rito girl, and took her to New Peaktop to obtain her wings himself.
Unfortunately, the Hakiems tracked him back to his hiding place from there. He sensed that he was being followed and left Calla at their home to lead them away. However, the Hakiems had a new plan. They kidnapped Calla, forcing Horohn to come out of hiding to attempt a rescue. He failed, and realized that he stood no chance without the aid of the other Golden Ones. On his way back towards Northern Hyrule he was captured and nearly lost the Rito Goldforce to Zaboorak, but in the end committed suicide so that the Zora would not get what he wanted. His sacrifice denied the Rito Goldforce to him, and also warned the other Golden Ones that the Hakiems' were no longer solely focused on Zaris.
Golden Goron: Xaradis
Male (dead)
Little is known about the Golden Goron, Xaradis. He was, however, the first Golden One to be found and attacked by Zaboorak. Despite having the invincible shield of the Goron Goldforce at his disposal, he was soundly defeated by the Zora. It is because of Xaradis' death that the other Golden Ones were made aware of Zaboorak's treachery, and it is possible Xaradis sacrificed himself to allow the other Golden Ones to flee to safety.
Golden Zora: Zaboorak
Male, Chaos, Scholar//Mage
Weapon: Fins
Known Abilites: Thunder L3, Polymorph, Elemental Explosion L3, Musical
Talent, Unarmed Combat
Goldforce Powers: Zora, Goron, Fairy
Zaboorak's title of 'Golden Zora' is not very accurate anymore. Early in his life, he was seduced by the promises of power given to him by the Lord of Darkness, Ganon. He became a being of pure evil, and soon turned on the other Golden Ones, striking first at Xaradis, the Golden Goron. With the Goron Goldforce he made plans to destroy the other eight Golden Ones, but these plans never came to fruition, primarily due to the actions of Zaris, the Golden Sheikah.
Zaboorak became obsessed with finding Zaris, to the point of hiring a group of radically vengeful, yet incredibly efficient, mercenaries, the Hakiems. As time went on and Zaris continued to elude their capture, Zaboorak was made an honorary member of the assassin group, and even today plans a secret takeover of the entire organization.
Golden Deku: Ukedra
Nothing is known of the Golden Deku except his name, which was spoken in passing by Karunik. However, he is the known friend of the Deku Yukie, who was saved from the Hakiems by several of the adventurers, including Shada (Force of Gold V - Growing Aggression).
Golden Kokiri: Irisos
Female
Weapon: Unknown
Known Abilities: Unknown
Goldforce Powers: Kokiri
Irisos was the Kokiri who presented the adventurers with the 6th clue during the Puzzling Prelude. After it was revealed that Zaris had been behind this plan, suspicions of her being the Golden Kokiri were forged, but were not confirmed until Zaris asked Andek to fetch her during the fight with Laxin (Force of Gold VIII - Castle Liberation).
Golden Fairy: Sheera
Female (dead)
Sheera was the Golden Fairy, a kind and compassionate being, as well as being a good friend and companion of Master Zaris. She met Zaris' two apprentices during their own travels with Zaris. She was not overly talkative in any way, and whenever she spoke it was out of concern or to offer good, solid advice that the listeners truly needed.
Unfortunately, her kindness eventually led to her downfall. In the midst of the adventurers' first major battle against the Hakiems Tribe (Master Search VI - Golden Battle), Shada was greatly injured by Karunik while Sheera and Zaris watched from above. Refusing to listen to Zaris' wise words, she flew down to the battlefield and used the Fairy Goldforce to heal Shada's wounds. She was immediately attacked and killed by Zaboorak, allowing the Zora to gain his third Goldforce Power.
Golden Gerudo: Koura
Female, Neutral, Vagabond//Ranger
Weapon: Gerudo Scimitars x2, Boomerang, Bow
Known Abilities: Disarm Trap L2, Calm Beast, Track, Arcane Archery, Train: Bow L3, Train: Boomerang L4
Goldforce Powers: Gerudo
Early in her life, Koura's mother was killed as a result of her disagreement with bowing down to Ganon, and Koura was left to wander the streets of Parapa Village alone. In time she was found and adopted by Nyra, the Golden Gerudo, who decided to train the kind-hearted girl to be her successor. However, the twosome were always in controversy with the leading Gerudos as well, and soon enough were exiled from the village. They used the Shrine of Spirit as their temporary home before Nyra could locate a suitable cave for them to call home. In the years to come, Nyra would die of old age and Koura would inherit the Gerudo Goldforce. She also continued to care for Nyra's best friend, a hawk by the name of Skye.
Golden Human: Andek
No information is known concerning Andek yet.
Golden Hylian: Richarn Noval
Male, Order, Grunt//Vassal
Weapon: Gilded Sword
Known Abilities:
Goldforce Powers: Hylian
Richarn Noval was a general in the Hylian Knights and, secretly, the leader of the Royal Elite Remnant. Already a powerful telepath, his skills have been further enhanced by the Hylian Goldforce sharing in this trait, forming a man who few minds can successfully stand against. Seven years ago he was in charge of Hyrule's investigation concerning Wraith, becoming the world's most knowledgeable man on the subject of the assassin.
Golden Sheikah: Zaris
Male, Order, Grunt//Nomad
Weapon: Enchanted Gilded Sword
Known Abilities: Thunder L3
Goldforce Powers: Sheikah
Zaris is the Golden Sheikah, and has spent over one hundred years leading Zaboorak away from the other Golden Ones. By constantly handing the Zora embarrassing - although almost always costly - defeats, Zaboorak continued to chase Zaris throughout the world. During two different battles, Zaris lost both arms to the Zora's fins, but continued to fight on, turning his specialty to fighting with one's feet.
Eventually Zaris realized that, though in excellent shape and an outstanding warrior, time would not stop even for him. He had to choose an apprentice, whom he found in young Keyru Varaudo. The night before he had planned to leave Keyru's village with the boy in tow, however, the Hakiems, recently hired by Zaboorak, attacked. Zaris was forced to kill their leader, Jinur, and this led to the destruction of the town by the vengeful Sheikah clan. Zaris managed to escape, as did Keyru. In keeping with the tradition of Zaris' fighting style, Zaris gave Keyru a new name: Alpha.
When Alpha learned how Zaris had played a part in his home's death, he left Master Zaris. Abandoned, Zaris still needed to find a student, and as fate would have it, he soon ran into another young girl that had lived in Keyru's village, Shada. Though she was not fond of fighting, she agreed to travel with Zaris and learn a few things, eventually becoming a competent Sheikah warrior.
