a movie is like from hollywood - star wars , lord of the rings etc. , but a video can be any kind of production for any person to see- i.e google videos

I still don't see the difference between the two terms. As long as it utilizes film technology, it should still be called a movie, regardless if it was video taped or shot. Am I right? ???
