You only get hacked in runescape if you let someone do so.  If you give out your password (Which is supposed to be impossible now) then of course you're going to get hacked.

I've never played Runescape, but I've seen it at my friends house. I'm not going to say how bad it was, watching it. :'(
I think 420chan hacked it, since they said they would raid it. Sorry for your loss, though, since you put so  much time into it.

Sorry, but the only way you can get hacked is if you give out your password. Never, EVER give anyone your password if they say they'll give you a bunch of stuff.

I have been hacked once, but it was because of a friend who...nevermind..

Saying your password is, in fact physically impossible now.  If you were to say something pertaining to your password on runescape, it would say instead of you saying your message: Sorry, but there seems to be a word in there that has to do with your password.  If my password were, say LegendofZelda(Don't get any ideas, it's not it) I couldn't say Legend of Zelda or anything to do with Zelda(the character).  If you do manage to get hacked, I recommend checking your computer's security

Yeah, I was hacked when I gave my friend my password so he could level my guy up while I was on vaction. But this was back when we were 10 or so years old.

Mine is jackal386.I haven't been on lately since I was having trouble loading it, but I finally got back on last night.

I don't think it's boring or pointless because I don't just focus on grinding levels like most people in the game, I like to enjoy the good community (although it's dwindling lately...) and play games and work on skills so I can help people out when they start. I'm getting extremely annoyed by all the 'lolz u n00b' people on there. Just because I'm wearing Steel Armor...God, I can't wait to make enough money to buy my crap back.
