What we need to do is change how we select Presidents. Not saying the voting should change, but we need to make it to where poor people can run too, so it isn't just the money-loaded corrupted people that are able to have campaigns.

Yeah, or just people who are smart enough. But there's already quite a few rules about running for president. Like you must be a legal citezen (I think you even have to be born in the US) You have to have been living in the country for...15 years, I think...before you run. (So you can't move to, like, France or anything and come back and run for president, you have to wait) And you have to be over 18...I forgot most of it. I learned it in 7th grade.

Must be born in the U.S.
Must have lived in the U.S. for thirteen years I think.
Must be a white male. (It's an unwritten rule. They let the others in for lawls.)

35 And did you forget that Obama and Hillary Clinton are running in the Democrat primaries? The former's black, the latter, a white lady... *coughs*

I know, they're in it for lawls ::) I was actually just stating on observation on the fact that all presidents have been white males, I don't actually believe that. I have no problem with a black or woman running the country, can't do any worse than some of the white men that have run it.

Good point there, you never know, the poor people might actually be smarter than the rich people.

It's not always who's smarter though... most of the time it IS, but they have to have a certain intelligence. I don't think a rocket scientist would be the best idea for  a president, as being president has NOTHING to do with engineering.

He should be a diplomat, able to understand comprehensively the balance of power and be able to serve with communication between international and national needs.

Mostly what I'm trying to point out is we need to get good, honest people in the running who haven't been corrupted by money and greed. Unfortunately, the way it is now, corruption is practically a requirement.

i dont watch news because it bothers me how messed up the world is  8) its kinda beyond repair
