I think its more along the lines of discovering their true destiny, and/or where they belong. Naruto basically wants to become Hokage, so he's chosen his. Sakura however, is kind of drifting on what her goal is. I think her goal as of now is to learn as much about being a medical nin as possible so she can help her team when they're in a pinch. She did a good job saving kankuro, and as of that episode, she had earned my total respect(I never cared about Sakura before)

Sasuke becoming Raikage is only a fan theory made because he controls lightning. It's like Zetsu coming from Kusagakure (Grass), we don't know yet.

Just like to point out that, in the manga, Itachi and Sasuke have finally began their battle. Already, in just one chapter, major blows have been recieved.

Also, someone said Choji and Neji died a few posts ago. They live through it. The American anime hasn't shown them surviving yet, though.

Itachi dies? I remember fighting with Sasuke in the last episode of the manga. I havent checked todays released though, I might be wrong as in most cases.Edit: BTW, I saw the episode.He really does LOL ;)

Yeah thats right I really didnt notice that. Wow, I thought SPOILERS!!! that itachi got blown away from that super mega powerfull Chidori of Sasukes. Oh, well,LOL. :D

I'm going to bump this topic because some big stuff's been happening in the manga lately.  So brace yourselves for an onslaught of spoilers.

Pein attacked Konoha and fought Kakashi.  Kakashi may or may not be dead.

Pein then does the equivelant of a nuclear bomb on Konoha making it nothing but a crater. 

After Pein's attack, Naruto returns to Konoha as a Toad Sage, similar to Jiraiya and his dad, the 4th Hokage.  He's wearing a coat similar to his dad's and Jiraiya's scroll is on his back.




After a prolonged fight in which Naruto manages to destroy 5 of Pein's bodies, Pein manages to pin Naruto to the ground.  Hinata steps in, confesses her love for Naruto, and then proceeds to get stabbed by Pein.  After seeing this, Naruto goes into a fury and unleashes the Six-Tailed Transformation.



After Pein uses his ultimate technique to trap Six Tailed Naruto, Naruto unleashes the seal and becomes Eight-Tailed:

While having a discussion with the Kyuubi, the Fox manages to convince Naruto to entirely break the seal.  Until the 4th Hokage shows up in Naruto's mind:
