Wolf Link's colours

I'm making a costume of Wolf Link, as some of you may know.

I'm completely redoing the head, feet, tail, hands, and making the body this week/end. I don't want to make any gross inaccuracies in ordering fur ($20 a yard, and I need 4 for his body) for his body.

I looked over him in the game, as his official action figure, and at fanart. His colours vary widely. I'm going to use green fur on his head and tail, and this realistic wolfy fur on his body.

However, one thing killed me a little inside-his white/tan parts. Are they tan? Or are they white? Or are they honey? Or are they bone?

I'd say go with light tan. In that case, if it's white, it won't be too tan, and if it's tan, it won't be too white.

I'd go with white. It's more realistic.

I think it's more on the tannish side than the white side... cream perhaps?
