However, one thing: NEXT TIME, TURN THE ITEMS OFF. Seriously. Smash Balls aside...Maxim Tomato. Heart Container. Latios and Latias. I do not want to resort to item whoring to actually stay in the game. :'(

So no johns about the fans if you where the one who set items to be on, while I turned them off to try to make the next match more skill-oriented. Really. No johns, MK.

I suppose I could look into USB-Ethernet adapters; I thought only Wi-Fi USB Connectors would work... Heh, didn't know they existed. XD I hope they're compatible with Alltel dial-up.

And good question, MK and Tacheon. In the Smash community, a john is an excuse for losing or not doing well, or it's just an overall complaint on gameplay. I guess it was coined by a guy who had a friend that was complaining about losing or other, and the complainer's name was John. ;)

I know there are some high-speed providers that are actually cheaper than dial-up... Do you have cable? If you do, you might be able to get yourself a deal that includes high-speed internet.

You mean cable TV? Yeah, we do, but if we alter the plan, we'd have to pay for all the channels. The people who own our building pay for the cable as part of the "renting package."

Well, just check the high-speed providers in your area and find out which one works best for you. It's better than dial-up, anyways...
