It seems like many official letters are mailed instead of sent electronically, possibly so it's easier to verify and authenticate, but the shipping time is unexplainable. Even shipping something with the slowest shipping rate the post office can provide, it should take three days at most if you don't live that far away.

I got the letter today... er... yesterday, and I am in.  So I will be moving out in January.
