My laptop is Hewlett-Packard.  As soon as I can afford it, I think I'll go for a Dell; thing is, I would need my dad with me to explain the computer jargon to me, and he seems to be loyal to the HP brand, so he might stop me from buying anything that isn't an HP laptop.

Although, my sister's boyfriend suggested I get a desktop since they can be upgraded, at least more than a laptop can be upgraded.  But you can't carry around a desktop computer, now can you?  Can you?!

Also, my Dad has an HP laptop, and he really likes it. It's pretty high-quality, but how well it fares in the long run remains to be seen. Me, though? I use a Toshiba. Not much to complain about here! Great performance (though PC gaming is strictly hit-or-miss in regards to whether it will run, due to the graphics card), reliable, and it was cheaper than an average Dell laptop. Battery life isn't the greatest, though, but I have it plugged in almost all the time anyways.

However, if we wish to discuss computers, I think we should probably move out of this thread.

Well, I don't know exactly how long I've been gone, but it seemed long to me.  ;) My computer wasn't broken or anything, I just...didn't really go on TDC. Anyway, I'm back. Hope I'll be able to stay that way. :)
