I just checked the poketch on my game, Dragon is the most resistant but can be poisoned. Also Gyarados owns with shoop da woop face all the time.

Fishalicious

Steel > Dragon. the end.

... I'm just kidding, of course. XD

I'm a firm believer that Gyarados should be water and dragon. Or that it should be able to fly. Dodrio can fly without wings, why can't a floating dragon?

The Glamour Nazi

Also if you look in the anime the gyarados floats.

Gamefreak

I'm a fan of the Dragon/Fire types.

Water has too many easily exploited Weaknesses... :-* Ghost is great, And dragon is the one with the least weaks.

Yeah, but putting stuff like Quagsire and Lanturn in there throws that idea for a loop.

Yeah, i hated quagsire in E4...
I bulldozed through the Sinnoh Elite Four with a level 75 Alakazam, with Dialga providing back-up for the Dark-types.  With some PP-restoring items, a few max revives, and plenty of revives, it took me one try to defeat them.

Yeah, the other four Pokemon were cannon fodder for when I had to heal Alakazam.
Best.  Cane.  EVER!

I hated it just cause i forgot it was ground and was planning on using my luxray, a quick switch to Torterra and it's double super effective.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but pertaining to the earlier conversation about low level Pokemon being useful, has anyone tried the F.E.A.R. combination move set?

Make a Ratata learn Endeavor, and Quick attack. Give it a Focus Sash to hold.
Endeavor = A move that brings down the enemy's HP to the user's.
Focus Sash = An item that works just like Focus Band, but it is only good for one use, and its 100% guaranteed to work.
Use a quick attack to rid the enemy of its remaining 1 hit point.

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

cacturnerules

What game can you do that in, and where do you get a focus sash?

DW

I think I want to make a team entirely of Bidoof.

That can be done in Diamond and Pearl, and a Focus Sash, my good friend, is a newly introduced item. My friend Jesus specializes in strategies like that. For instance, he wanted an Aipom really really badly, and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out, that if you nab an Aipom with the ability "Run Away" that ability will turn into "Technician"(upon evolving into Ambipom) which increases the power of any attacks that have a base power of 60 or under. Sounds dumb right? Well, Ambipom has a beastly attack stat, and a move called "Double-hit" which hits twice, but has 35 base. Combined with a Silk Scarf(which was actually my idea) thats one helluva punch.
