And yes, you're understanding me correctly. ;) I'm actually very surprised that I did, considering that one of my classmates is a second-year (in dual enrolling, mind you) who knows more about C++ than I do. And that's ironic because he never knew about the modulus operator, the "secret weapon" of the program that we had to write for the test.

I consider myself very lucky. :P He would've won, hands down, had he known about the modulus operator.

What events did you do?

Call me ignorant, but what's BPA?

It stands for "Business Professionals of America," and it's, like, this organization thing that holds business-based events to compete in--a business track meet, if you will.

Two of my friends also placed first in one of their events, so that means we're all going to the state conference! That means we get to play Brawl while we're in a fancy hotel in Grand Rapids! :D

I was in a C++ event (obviously), had to give a speech with three others (one of which was one of the friends who got first place in their events) for the Web site design event, and took an IT concepts test and a business finance test.

I placed in none of the three latter events, unfortunately; but at least I did well in my C++. :P
