I am ZeldaFanatic80.  I have been a fan of the Series since 1987 when Legend of Zelda was brought to North American shores.  My favorite titles are Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.  In my personal opinion I think OoT, MM, TWW and TMC all royally suck.

(also, with the exception of MM, I totally agree with your views on the newer games).

Oh, and it's not Zelda 2:  The Adventure of Link, it's just Zelda:  The Adventure of Link.  Still though, it's awesome to see someone who remembers when the originals just came out too.

Well Davy, I grew up with the classics.  What do you mean by Zelda: The Adventure of Link?  I own a copy of the cart and it clearly says Zelda 2 and not simply Zelda.

My cart is apparently extremely strange, although I'm assuming I got it around the same time as you.  I've looked it up online, and it's got a different pic on it as well.  once it gets bright enough (the light wakes up my roommates), I'll post a pic of it with my ****ty webcam.
