I just had a really screwed up dream.  These two guys were having a gun fight and one guy got blasted apart by a shotgun.  I mean really blasted apart, like body parts flying everywhere until there was almost nothing left.  Then there was this other part where there were hundreds of people standing on a mountain by the edge of a cliff, just kind of hanging out, and all of a sudden they started killing each other.  Once about half of them were dead, the rest jumped off the cliff.  That has to be the most violent dream I've had in a long time.

That kinda reminded me of this one dream I had  :P

Leik, there were these guys (about....3 of them, I think? At the end it was like, 5) and they all wanted to kill me, and one of them threw a butter knife (yes, a butter knife) at me and I dodged and ran downstairs. Then I waited for him to come down with my own, butterknife, and he threw another, butter knife, at me and I dodged and threw mine at him. Then when he came down I tried to kick him in dat one place...but I failed cuz my legs are always really slowed down in my dreams. So anyway, after that, I came back downstairs because I had just killed the other ones. And it ended there and then I dreamed that I was walking into a school-library with this girl, and I noticed some girls were reading a Zelda book (I think it was like, what the songs mean or somehting lol) and I asked one of them if that when they're done if I can read it, and she was all leik "...No." and I was all like "Oh, sorry. Did it like, just come out or somehting?" and she said "Yeah" and it ended there.  ::)

EDIT: Oh, and I read you can die from your dreams.

Hi no Seijin

And where did you read that?

This really stupid site I go to

But someone said something like, the reason you wake up right before you die in dreams is because if you don't wake up when you're about to die your mind/body gets confused and thinks it's real.
I'mna see if I can find teh post.
EDIT: Ok now I'm starting to wonder if I imagined it?

Hi no Seijin

Well, if it's a stupid site, then you can discredit that "fact" right there.

Stupid sites aside, the logic doesn't make any sense.  If your brain is smart enough to realize it's dreaming and wake you up before you die in your dream, then it should be smart enough to wake up even if you die in your dream.

There are disorders where it is possible to die in your sleep, but I highly doubt any of them are caused by dreaming.  As far as I know and am concerned, dying from a dream is the work of fiction.

What about people who die of heart attacks during their sleep?
Is it possible that they had a dream so shocking that it killed them?
There is no way to know, of course, because we can not ask them...

Hi no Seijin

Actually, if the person happened to be hook up to one of those machines that record brain patterns during sleep (gah, I can't remember what they're called; I want to say EKG or something like that, but I'm not sure), it might be possible to catch this extremely shocking dream, but I would think the person would have to have a weak heart to begin with.

The other day I had dream in which I was in an endless forest covered in dried leaves (it was autumn, not a single patch of soil was visible). I jumped really high, perhaps 15ft, and as I was about to fall, I focused and started to rise again. It went on like like this for what felt like an hour, it was like flying, only a bit scary because I always had the risk of crashing in to the ground.

Lol I'm not talking about the people, it's just way too family friendly.
You can't even say "omg"  ::)

But Idk, I think it might be some time of sleeping disorder. Cuz I asked about it and people gave me diff. answers lol

Mikaudes: Kinda reminds me of Zelda with cheats lol

Oh ja one time I dreamed that I was on this elevator, and it turned into a Willy-Wonka type thing and then I was flying over this city on teh water and it was being carried by a helicopter and then we crashed XD

I had a dream, that two of the Geography teachers at my school put our whole year into a Gladiator Stadium, then said we coukd each have one plastic cup of beer. So we did. Then I woke up, it was weird.

alex

the weirdest/scariest dream ive ever had is probably the one where i grow up to be a super smart physicist and me and my lab partner create this machine that can like switch your brain or your body or something. then for some stupid reason we decide to test it out on ourselves but we end up dying and these creatures come out of the darkness and drag us by our ankles into the gates of hell for breaking the laws of physics and playing god... there was a lot of scary things there :[

Uximadesk

You know, that kind of reminds me of Half Life...

Anyway so there was this monster-dude who wanted to kill TP for some reason or another, and we were in the middle of the desert at midnight (with "we" I mean people in the forum, which must be the first dream you have appeared in). So this mister transforms into a quadripedal creature made out of green crystal. And we start fighting him, but he is overpowering us, so I take out the omnitrix(yes, you read right) and transform into some midget version of cromastone, and while you are all shooting at him I say "shoot through me", so you do and I happen to be able to look at his health bar (I know, 'WTF' right?) and reduce it to zero.
Then the monster dude tranform back to mister and says to TP while smiling "You... have your mother's cells", TP just answers "lol XD" (I have no idea how she 'said' that) and the mister dies. And then I wake up to find out that my sister and my cousin are playing GH on my Wii.

Okai so I had THE craziest dream last night XDDD

Ok, so, I was in the garage, and I found out that if you dress up like L (Makeup and everything) then people would NOT see you, and you could scare people at the right time. So, I got into position, and one of my aunts came along with this cake (...o.O???) and, as stupid as I am and forgetting she had a cake, I said "BOO" and she literally THREW IT STRAIGHT UP XDDDD

Then after that, I guess Team Rocket wanted to get into my room or something, 'cause I was running to my room and they ran after me (they had a Haunter, btw) and the whole time they were running after me they were saying "WE GOTTA GET IN!" Then I felt really tired so I laid (got no idea if that's right) down on my bed and my T.V. turned on, and I turned it off. Then Haunter popped up and I was all like "BOO!" and he didn't move so I was all like "...I'm not scared of you? o.O"
Then I guess I was going back to my room but Team Rocket had gotten there first, and then Ash appeared outta no where and was all like "Charizard, Flame Thrower!!!" and then I was all like "I better send out Squirtle in case this gets too out of hand!!" and then Ash was all like "Well at least water's not filling up the whole place..." and then I had an image in my head of it filling up with water XDDD

Nope. EEG. Short for Electroencephalogram
