Love the Pokemon one.  Of course Professor Oak is that awesome; that's where Gary gets it from.

Why does everyone make such a big deal with how awesome Gary is? All I see is an angry Daddy's boy with superiority issues (kinda like myself.) Now I will admit his Champion music is incredible, but still.

I played Crystal version first, and I thought that the rival in that game was pretty good. Then I played Red, and I just couldn't put it down. But I still love Crystal better.

I'd say it's more of an inferiority complex than Superiority issues.

My favorite rival was Silver.

Silver was never really whiney, and even when he was, when you figure out who his dad is [spoiler]Giovanni[/spoiler] you kinda forgive him for his whineyness and notice how much he's grown as a person.

XDDDDDD I just moved, and my friends from my old town keep yelling at mke to come back. My best friend (KingKomali, if you remember), just put this on facebook:
