Some thoughts: Boo Michael Phelps, you can  do better than fourth, but at least Lochte is also American. That cycling this morning was so intense. Gymnastics is fun to watch.

I was rather upset when the Doctor didn't light the torch.

After that, I stopped caring.

Michael Phelps is now one medal away from tying for the most Olympic medal wins ever.

I watched archery with my family. Our boys did so good. Anyone else watch USA vs Italy? I actually felt really bad for the last guy to shoot for Italy's team. It was all up to him. If he got an 8, they lost. A 9, and the two teams tie. A 10, and they win. It all came down to his shot. I wouldn't have wanted to be him. Even though USA lost, those boys made history. The United States has never even placed in archery in the entire history of the Olympics.

I caught a little bit of USA slaughtering Serbia in Vollyball, but my dad was switching back and forth between events. I got to see a French guy get beat up by an American. I didn't agree with the judges' decision. The American only won by a single point, but the entire time I watched, the French guy was just getting thrashed. He didn't land almost any of the punches he threw, and they were quickly countered. I feel like there may have been some French or very sympathetic judges at that event >.>

And now Michael Phelps has broken the world record of most Olympic medal wins, with 15 gold (also the most), 2 silver, and 2 bronze totaling 19 medals!

This may be late, but the men's diving final was one of the most intense things I've ever watched.
