not familliar with that one... some one sing it! :)
One Winged Angel?  I don't know the lyrics to the Advent Children one, so here's the one to the original:

*Estuans interius
Ira vehementi.
Estuans interius
Ira vehementi.

**Sephiroth!
Sephiroth!

repeat *

repeat **

Sors immanis-
Et inanis.
Sors immanis-
Et inanis.
repeat*

repeat **
______
Awesome instrumental break
______
Veni, veni, venias,
Ne me mori facias.
Veni, veni, venias,
Ne me mori facias.
Veni, veni, venias,
Ne me mori facias.

repeat **

Repeat above again.

Translated from the Latin, it's:

Estuans interius Ira vehementi=Burning inside with violent anger.

Sors immanis-Et inanis=Fate monstous and empty.

Veni, veni, venias Ne me mori facias=Come, come, oh come, do not let me die.

Sephiroth is a name.

And for a little bit of extra information, One Winged Angel was put together from lines from Carl Orff's poems.

Yeah, strangely enough, the lyrics were not Japanese. ;D

Nice job, Hi no Seijin!

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Gamefreak

They're Latin I believe.  I could have posted the words if I was here sooner.

The Advent  Children one is in Japanese, I think.
Yes, Gamefreak, it is Latin.
I think I heard of Barry White.  Wasn't he a jazz player?

la la la lalaaaaa!
throw your arms around someone,
maybee spread a little love!
i know it sounds a little dumb,
but all we need is an ice cream and a hug!

cant we all just, get along now,
we found somthin that we all have incomin now,
we can hold hands, to catch this,
water skiing sounds great to meeee!
...

i know sounds silly, but its a good song

Country isn't that bad, JDog.  At least you can understand the words, unlike rap and heavy rock.
You can understand the words in heavy metal it just takes awhile to figure out what there saying

Gamefreak

I personally do not like country music either.  But I can tolerate listening to it.

Hi no Seijin

Garth Brooks is the best! ;D

I used to be able to tolerate country until they started playing it on my busride to school everyday. Now I always bring a CD player, but when it runs out of batteries, I have to listen to country again.

Oh, and about the rap and heavy metal having lyrics that are hard to understand, you don't really need to understand the lyrics to enjoy music. One of the reasons I listen to music from senegal. It's good reggae, and it's good rock n roll, even though I don't understand it.

My favourite is Bob Dylan, he's such an amazing poet and musician.

Just read the lyrics to 'Blind Willie McTell' - you will never need another artist!

Seen the arrow on the doorpost
Saying, "This land is condemned.
All the way from New Orleans
To Jerusalem."
I traveled through East Texas
Where many martyrs fell
And I know no one can sing the blues
Like Blind Willie McTell

Well, I heard the hoot owl singing
As they were taking down the tents
The stars above the barren trees
Were his only audience
Them charcoal gypsy maidens
Can strut their feathers well
But nobody can sing the blues
Like Blind Willie McTell

See them big plantations burning
Hear the cracking of the whips
Smell that sweet magnolia blooming
(And) see the ghosts of slavery ships
I can hear them tribes a-moaning
(I can) hear the undertaker's bell
(Yeah), nobody can sing the blues
Like Blind Willie McTell

There's a woman by the river
With some fine young handsome man
He's dressed up like a squire
Bootlegged whiskey in his hand
There's a chain gang on the highway
I can hear them rebels yell
And I know no one can sing the blues
Like Blind Willie McTell

Well, God is in heaven
And we all want what's his
But power and greed and corruptible seed
Seem to be all that there is
I'm gazing out the window
Of the St. James Hotel
And I know no one can sing the blues
Like Blind Willie McTell

You should all listen to his songs.

MagmarFire

Listen to Utada Hikaru, Koji Kondo, and John Williams. THEN we'll talk. ;D :P
