I don't believe most of the monsters in Zelda have blood in the first place. They're made of dark energy, not flesh and blood, and that's why they instantly vanish when Link deafeats. You can't have bleeding when your enemies don't have bllod.

I don't think that. For starters, the monsters exists already before Ganon starts his reign of terror. Also, in OoT and MM they do, in fact, bleed when you hit them.

Actually, the way I look on it is that the only monsters that works for Ganon are the humanoid monsters, like Moblins (and not all Moblins are loyal to him). Others, like Tektites and Octoroks, are just wild animals.

Well, I heard somewhere that when Link from OoT gets hit, there's an explosion of red. The source said that it was blood.

Also, when you kill those shells that keep jumping after you, or thos spikey butt heads underwater, there are bloody bubbles rising from where you killed it...

There was blood in the shadow temple. It was all over the walls. And when Ganondorf muttered his final words, he fell, and spat out green gutz. Then his cape spread out underneath him and it looked like a puddle of blood. :P They used the word a lot in Majoras mask. Ikana's blood stained history, all that jazz.

In the original OoT Ganons blood was red. Then a load of people complained and it was turned green. I read that somewhere ::)
