I know that you don't know that, I wish I've had the game for gamecube, it looks better than the advance.

JDog the GBA one is not a port for the first one. There is none for DS, at least no confirmed (great idea though) And the one for GCN is the best english version.

An example of a port is a difeerent version (FF1 for NES's port for GBA, FF1+FF2: Dawn of Souls)

The first fire emblem is Japan exclusive.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. I beat it twice and i'm working on my third playthrough right now.

Which difficulties? I completed it on easy and am about to do so on normal. Laguz are the best! (Mainly the cat ones)

What you do is keep beating it untill you get all the unlockable characters then play on hard mode.
