If we HAVE to get into a religious debate, then I will open a topic for it if this escalates.  But before I do, be warned.  Dan the Man tried this once, and well, it didn't end well.  So I don't want to have to do it unless I must.  Also, this topic is for international news.  Your debating whether God exists or not, does not belong here.

Religion just seems a bit pointless, if it causes loads of fighting - terrorism, crusades etc.
Obviously there are some good things about Religion but it tends to be fairly outweighed by the negative.
I just can't understand why someone would want to live their lives based on something a 2000 year old book says.
And Gamefreak, I am not saying the was "something wrong with the birth of Jesus?", but lets face it no one knows if he even existed and if he had I'm sure he'd be pretty upset at all these people who kill in his name.

Christians generally live their lives to be good.  Well even if in the end, there is no God, you still lived as a good person.


Also, I will say this again.  This is not a topic for religious discussion.  This is a topic for international news.

But religion is the cause of alot of international news, so surely this is valid.
You can still live a good life as a Christian - Atheists do, Muslims do, Hindus do. There is nothing about a good life that only Christians can do.
