These are probably the toughest Zelda games ever!

Well, yeah. They are tough. I haven't gotten through L.1 of AOL, and I've only reached L.4 of LOZ after about since the beginning of March. These are tough, very tough.

They aren't that difficult. A few tips for TAOL:
Get the free 50 exp points in the forest north of the first village
Get the Shield Spell from the first village. You can even get the Jump Spell first by entering the cave in the desert. Even though you can't see anything, it's not hard to get it. Watch the floor carefully, so you can see if there's anything crawling around.
Get the heart container south of the first dungeon.
For every dungeon, I would recommend visiting it twice. One time for the item, one time for boss. Don't waste energy you'll need for the boss on getting the item, because you'll need everything (life, magic) you can keep before reaching him.
Don't finish teh first dungeon too quickly. There's a great training area there. Around where the fairy is located are not so tough, yet worthwhile enemies. Use the fairy to restore your life and when you've defeated them all, just leave the dungeon and reenter it. It's really easy to get your first levelups here.

Also, on the path over Mt. Kasuto (not the Path of Fire), when you get that far, don't just run. Those Dairas will definitely hit you then. It will take some time, but if you concentrate on avoiding the rocks you will lose less health than you do if you just run through it.

Well, if you're wondering why I'm far more skilled at LOZ, it's because I'm good with the gameboy.

Plus, this topic is about whether or not you think these two games are the toughest, not if these are far too tough, but I'll allow that.

With the most likely exception of TP, these are probably the toughest.

Gamefreak

I just finally managed to beat LoZ the other day.

Actually, Twilight Princess has been fairly easy. I've only been stuck about twice. It's the awesomeness of it that makes it great (if you can imagine what i meen).

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Gamefreak

Yeah, Twilight hasn't really been that tough.  But these games are from a time when it was extremely hard to "beat" a video game.

DW

Hmm,yeah the first two games are tough. I'm playing them on the collector's edition thing

LoZ is moderately difficult, but I gave up pretty quickly on AoL.

Unlike TP, which isn't really difficult at all, unless you have very few heart containers, naturally.

DW

the thing about AoL is that it isn't like any other Zelda game, it was originally meant to be a different game, but it was abandoned and Zelda picked it up.

Oh, I didn't know that about AoL, but that makes sense.

Nor me.

Anyway, Twilight Princess is very easy (except the Lakebed Temple, and this is just from guessing, I've only just started it and am already puzzled, in the room with the staircase. Don't help me in this topic.),

As I have said before there hasn't been a tough or hard Zelda games since AoL. OoT Master Quest was not even as tough in my opinion as the first two games. First time I played through all the games after AoL I was able to get through all the games without dying once. Of course the games after the NES games focused more on puzzles then actual difficulty which is fine because all the games are great.
