I don't think it needs to be remade, it served it's purpose when it was released and it does so now. Then again, the success of the re-release of Final Fantasy III could push Nintendo to follow suit, after all it is doubtless it would sell. Still, I very much doubt it will happen.

hehe, they even remade Pokémon Green and Red (as FireRed and LeafGreen), I think they just might do that, renew the graphics and *poof* a brand new copy of the original.

They don't do direct remakes of Zeldas. For example, OoT is an indirect remake of ALttP.

Technically, Hyrule when Link is an adult isn't a different realm.  It's the same realm, just seven years later.  Asides from that, I can see what you're saying.

Well, I know it's not a different realm, but realm was the only word I could think of that applied to both of them. A place that is similar but different, I guess.

They can't remake it anyways, because people are complaining enough as it is that Zelda is the same thing every game. If one was just remade, people would say it even more.

It would be cool if they made remakes of all the 2d Zeldas... Convert it into 3d but no other changes though.. Like ALttP in 3d.. picture it... ahh. I also think they could make MM and OoT in better graphics that would be so cool i would almost piss myself  ??? Wind Waker in more realistic graphics would be interesting too :)

At the risk of the feel of the game going away.  The cel-shaded look suits TWW.  I couldn't imagine it more realistically.

But it might be kind-of cool; new graphics but same storyline.
