Hard or Easy?

Would you guys rather have an easy game or an intensely hard and long game.  Like so hard you would play for 1-5 minutes and get so frustrated you would play a while?  Me personally, I would choose the harder.

MagmarFire

I think I would choose the harder type, too; for me, an easy game doesn't have as much worth as a game that takes longer to beat due to diffculty.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Baka Nezumi

It really depends on the type of hard; If its puzzels are hard then yes, I would like to have a hard game but if it's button-jamming hard the no.

Knil

I know, I hate those games where you have to press a lot of buttons just to do 1 little thing.

Baka Nezumi

Yeah, that's not exactly what I meant but I can see how you thought I meant that. I meant were you don't focus on WHAT button you press but on how much you press it.

LadyNintendo

I really don't care if it's difficult or easy as long as the game is challenging and makes you want to play. I mean, too easy is never fun, but I hate games that have annoyingly hard parts. You know, the kind of parts that cause you to not look at the game for atleast half a years. Parts that take the fun out of the game for you just because you think about them.

But I hate it if a game allows easy solutions. Like the Cave of Ordeals in TP. Pretty hard, UNLESS you just take the Rupees you can find in there to use the Magic Armor and use Bombs and Bomb Arrows for at least the last three chambers. Then it's a piece of cake with cream on top.

Hi no Seijin

If a game is too easy, then I think it's worth nothing more than something to just kill time with, and that's not exactly too fun.  I would hate to play a game where you spend days just trying to figure out how to get past the first room of the first dungeon.  So I'd say I'd like something in the middle.  I want a challenge, but let's make it as easy as possible while still making it a challenge.  Which is what Sword of Mana was somewhat like to me.

I actually like those games where you do that, but that might be because I'm good at that stuff.

Evilslayer

AoL is one of my favourite games. Guess what I'd choose? :-*

Correct, I want a HARD game. Preferably it should remain hard even with a dozen skills like the Hidden Skills in TP. I want a game it takes me a years to beat. Last such game I played as OoT, but that game was somewhat killed by the hype. And it was easy. There were just a few puzzles I couldn't figure. Like beating Gohma. ;D Seriously, it took more than a month, and then I had to ask a friend. *blushes* :P

At least, it should mostly be as challenging as ALttP in terms of battles. And I would like much more puzzles that gives you a headache than past Zeldas has.

Lucky. I suck big time at those games, except SSBM, if that counts.

collaboration

I'd pick the hard game, definitely. Although, if it were so hard as to be unenjoyable, then no. That would defeat the purpose, unless you're one of those self-punishing, gotta-prove-something types. Which I am not.

Fishalicious

Hard.

Like.... for example, I personally thought Wind Waker was unbelievably easy. >w< So I didn't like it as much as MM or TP. owo; But... on the other hand, I don't want to be sitting there for 3 days trying to get through one dungeon. (...Arbiter's Grounds doesn't count for me, I spent 1 day total in there. xD The other two was me being dumb.)
