Chosen by Evil, Ch.1

[Takun]

Link this, Link that! That's all they talk about in Stone Hollow Island. He hated Link. His parents say, "Why can't you be more like him?" He didn't need them. Kids made fun of him all the time, due to his name, Vaati. He HATED his name, if it was different he might have friends! Vaati decided to try and think of something besides the bad things in life. He felt around in his pockets for some rupees...YES! He had just enough for some chocolate! 20 rupees. He walked up to the store front and stopped. He had just remembered that he wanted to buy a nice wooded sword. If he spent his twenty rupees now, he'd have to wait another three weeks just to buy one. A cold wind blew in from the west, he looked over and saw the large dark clouds making their way toward the island.
      "Hey kid you gonna buy somethin' or not?" The, apparently annoyed, shopkeeper said. Well I guess he has a reason to be mad, this storm could cause some dammage to his shop.
      "No, I guess not." I said as I walked away. I was in no hurry to get home, even though we where due for a storm.

As I walked home I felt as if I was being followed. I turned around quickly, trying to catch my stalker. I saw a tall figure with a black hooded robe on. I couldn't see his face.
      "You have so much hate in you my child." he said in an even tone. "Thats perfect." he chuckled and before I knew what happen he was gone.
      "What in godesses name was that all about?!" I yelled to myself. Suddenly my left arm started to burn, as if something was being engraved into it. I pulled up my sleeves and looked at my arms. I gasped. On my arm was a huge tattoo streching from my shoulder to my hand. What is happening to me?!

Weird, you suddenly turned from third person to first person. Is that possible?

Yeah sorry about that  ;). I was doing fine until just suddenly I changed. I didn't realize it until AFTER I was done with the story. Srry  :'(  
But do you at least like it, if so I might continue, but If not Ill start a new story.

Nice story. It's supposed to be when Vaati's a human, right? I submitted a couple chapters of me and my sister's fanfiction, Ganon's Apprentice, but no one commented.  :'( I'll just post the other one and hope for some luck on comments. The other one is better anyway.  :)

Yeah, the main character is the reaincarnation of Vaati. He has no recalection of who he used to be, but it does explain why he hates link.

You went a little fast for the storyline to develope, but besides that and switching point of views it's good.

Chapter 2:Reborn

I got home just before it started to pour down rain. I immediatly ran into the bathroom grabbed a rag and started to scrub my arm as hard as I could. No luck. What ever it was it was perminant. I sighed and sat down on the toilet. My arm was red from the scrubbing. I looked down at my hand only to realize a symbol had formed on the outside of my hand. This was getting creepy. Ever since I met that man in the ally on my way home the tattoo on my arm had been moving and forming symbols and words that where in some strange language.

I walked up stairs into my room and layed down on my bed. I let out a sigh and started to think.
      "Well mom won't be home from Clock Town till tomorrow. And dad won't be home from Hyrule till next week." I said out loud. This gave me some time to think on how to solve this. I looked over and gasped. My arms and chest had the strange tattoo now! I sat up and looked at my chest and legs. It was spreding to the rest of my body! I ran to a mirror and before I knew it it was covering my whole body! The tattoo turned red and started to warp.
      "GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!" I let out a screem as what felt like a knife carving into my flesh started to take place everywhere on my body. The tattoo swirled around and then the markings started to gather at the symbol that had appeared on my left hand earlier. The pain stoped and the symbol on my hand cleared up and flashed once. A looked down to it and gasped, it was a black Triforce! A voice came into my head.
      "So now your transformation is complete. You know have been bestowed with the powers of the legendary wind sorcerrer, Vaati. But I am not done with you yet. There is another like you. Except he is the reincarnation of Link. He has the power of the Triforce of Light. You control the Triforce of Dark. You must kill him." the voice faded away.
      "Who are you?!" I yelled. No reply. I yelled several more times until I gave up.

Wind sorcerer? Vaati? Who was that? Was that who I was named after? Maybe...I pointed my finger toward my Goron plushie and concentrated. A transparent ball of wind apeared at my finger tip and shot out at the plushie, ripping a hole straight throught the middle. I fell to the floor speechless. I had the power to control wind?! This was scary yet amazing. Now the ultimate question, what to do with it?
