Whoo!  Steelers are going to the Superbowl!  First number six seed to make it to the Championship game in the playoffs... EXCELLENT!  They'll beat the Broncos and The Bus will be heading home!  YeHA!!!

No problem, but I smell a bet and I want to help start it. I bet my entire collection of chu chu jelly that The Broncos will win the playoffs. I'm not a football fan but I love bettin' so do I have any takers?!

That's what everyone said about the Colts, but look what happened to them. ;D.  The inevitable fact is the Steelers are destined to win this Game.  It is Jerome Bettis' last year and the Superbowl is in his hometown.  I believe it was the Steelers who gave way in the AFCCG during John Elway's last year, now it is the Bronco's turn to do the same thing.

Speaking of which, did anyone watch the game against the Colts?

Well...if I had any idea of who those people were and what the hell the AFCCG was then I might reconsider.....but the Broncos are gonna win so eat it!!!

And that is why they are going to win.  It's Jerome's last year (maybe) and they want to get him to the Superbowl.

AFCCG = American Footbal Conference Championship Game.

Jerome "The Bus" Bettis = Steelers Running Back for ten years.  Cool guy, selfless and supportive of his team.  Didn't even ask to get traded when the Steelers decided they weren't going to make him the number one running back.

I'm only going for the Steelers because (a) the Pats are sadly not in the Superbowl this year, (b) Steelers are my conference and (c) I love them for taking out the Broncos.

The Steelers will beat them.  Detroit is like five or six hours away from Pittsburgh and the team has a huge fan-base that travels well.  Most people outside of Washington hardly knew the Seahawks existed, so I am expecting the majority of the crowd to be rooting for the Steelers.  Both teams are equally skilled, but the Steelers have a greater will to win it.  Jerome Bettis is the reason they are there, but not because the is a hall of fame running back.  He was going to retire last year, but after coming so close to a Superbowl, he decided to stick around.  He is the main reason that team has stepped up.  The Seahawks have the skill, but not the will that the Steelers do.

Being from Washington, I really have no choice but to root for the Seahawks. And what do you mean they lack the will to win? Being in a city that's only real championship ever was 27 years ago(and in basketball) provides a greater need to win than Pitt. could ever have. Plus, Seattle's the one that has everything to prove. The Steelers already took out what would have been(if they had won the Super Bowl) the greatest team ever.

By the way, Seattle wins for sure.
