I dont think that way when I'm playing games. In a Game it's important for me to let the story unfold as the events want it to unfold. If someone catches a disease, or is mortally wounded, I'd do anything the game would allow me to do, to save that life. But to use cheatcodes or trainers or what-so-ever is against my own rules.
I honestly dont care wether you guys cheat or not, but it's agains my own gaming morals. In storyline-games. I do cheat when I'm playing boring games or something that's totally unrelated to tis factors. Grand Theft Auto - I cheated there, to get stuff so I could chill and have fun.

In Zelda I dont cheat, Baldurs Gate - no cheat.
Fable - I use a trainer now just to see what things would be like if I was like this or that. That also was boring... So I dont play the game anymore.
I dont cheat, it's not my way of having fun in a game such as Zelda, Balurs Gate or any games like that....

Is that satisfying?

a newborns life will fade.
From sun to moon, moon to sun...

GTA games are designed to be cheated on. After all what is more fun, 1. trying to cause havok with just your fists, or 2. entering in a nice, friendly, cheat and have a tank (which happens to be invinceble, and have unlimited ammo) drop from to sky that you can cruies around Vice City in.

Anyway back on topic anyone reading the topic, remember this. Cheating on most games= hiliarius and sometimes bloody fun ;D, cheating on Zelda and similer games = bad. Just remember those 3, err, 2 easy steps :D.

I found a cool use for a gameshark in OOT. Ok, you know how when you kill a lot of Stalchildren a biggerone pops out. Me and my friends used a code to keep Hyrule Field in unending night and slautered them. After about 15 minuets we got a Stalchild 3 times the size of Skull Keeta but with only 2 hp. ;D

Mysterious F.

I bet it would have trouble hitting you, being too big for the arms to reach.  ;D

DW

there's also a part in the game where it's endless night, isn't there? That way you wouldn't need a cheat..

Cheats aren't so bad. I like using moonjump to go places you're not supposed to go.

DW

like the King of Hyrule's private strip club at the top of Hyrule Castle ::)what?

Unless your in a town or city. But there are no enemies there. Otherwise I have no clue what your talking about :-X.

MagmarFire

He could've been referring to TWW, but that's probably irrelevant.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

DW

no...it was the part where you have to hurry to the castle to see Zelda and Impa escape, I remember. It's endless night isn't it? Until you get there and Ganon knocks you down and stuff.

I'm so ashamed... cheating on Zelda....
Might be OK to explore and stuff, but not to beat a boss you're stuck on! Never everever! >:( >:( >:( >:(

Master Dragmire

I agree with LadyNintendo about the controller part...
I play on an emulator so my joystick is really REALLY  sensitive which makes it impossible to get the larger ammo bag from the Lost Woods.....thus causing me to either smash it into my desk, or throw it across the room (while its still attached to my comp)
(I have the Legend of Zelda Collection thing for Gamecube, but its at my friends.) ;D

Now mabey you joy stick doesn't have it but the one my friend uses has an option where you can adjust the sensitivity. You can probly do it from your computer too.

Penguin dude 2

Cheating in Zeldas isn't always bad. Say you change Links clothes to black. Not bad, right? Things like that shouldn't really change the game much. But if theres a code Twilight to have unlimited cash so you can wear the Magic Armor isn't, though. Nothing to alter the game experience, or help you gain items, or kill enemies.
