Pfft.  They should investigate themselves for the repression of ideas.  In theory, Communism doesn't sound too bad, but power hungry people took it the wrong way.  If you want to get all political about it, this is where I'm going to withdraw.  I'm not a political kind of guy.

Also, heroes don't have to be perfect.  Look at Oedipus.  He was a hero, but he had a flaw that led to his downfall.  Heroes are people too, and they are just as capable of making mistakes like everyone else.

To CA, one, have you actually read what communism was supposed to be about?  Before you make any other judgements on it, try reading The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx or actually talk to a history teacher about it.  Two, I faught worse things than Joseph McCarthy.  I'm not afraid.
