In the first Trailer, Zelda was shown in a Castle in what looked like the Twilight Realm.  And yet she looked human.  My theory is that she looks different in the real world (Maybe some kind of creature) and that's her Twilight Form.  It would explain why the game is called "Twilight Princess."  It could be some kind of curse, put on her by the antagonist.

That's a possiblility. However, I think it has been suspected by many other gamers.

I forget where I read this...possibly the wikipedia page for TP? But I heard a theory that Zelda's 'other form' is the hawk seen in some of the trailers. There was also another rumor on the wikipedia page that Midna is Zelda, but I honestly dont know, thats just what I read.

EDIT: And apparently theres already a discussion on here about the Midna/Zelda connection. ^^;;

no wrong, I heard that the robe she wears is protecting her from the curse

Yeah, thats a possibility. I still cant wait though! It will be the best zelda game to date!!! Or so I hope...

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Or she is called Twilight Princess because she has the power to stay the same between the realms. I don't think she's the hawk becuz Link is supposed to be good with animals. (She could be Midna, yes.)

Zelda isn't the hawk because Link has the hawk at the start. Zelda can't be Midna because Midna is a ghost/spirit in Hyrule. Zelda can't be the Twilight Princess because that would be too obvious, and it would just be too weird.

I've read (from an interview AFTER E3 2005) that Link is the only one who changes in the Twilight Realm.
