New Forums?

We're to feel the limitations of this forum software, and I'm wondering if the time has come to switch to a new forum software package. Here are the implications of the change:

1. All old posts would be lost

2. Everyone would have to reregister

And the benefits:

3. I would edit everyone's post count so that they keep their titles and post number.

4. The forum looks sorta cooler (though I've be editing colors and tweaking it to make it prettier): http://desertcolossus.com/forums/index.php

5. With the new software, I can put in a points sytem and shop, so you can buy stuff like in HA2.

6. It'd be so much easier to block spammers.

Anyways, please vote. This is nonbinding, but if the response is overwhelming, I will probably go ahead and do it.

Anyways, I don't know, Jack... I kinda like the whole integration into the site, but if the posts don't get lost I think we can live with it being on another page. A better layout could probably be made, anyways...

I'd be fine with a change. Not like I care about my post count anyway, and registering takes about three minutes :D

It will be better! Im sure of it! Will it still be called and located at desertcolossus.com? Also, will we keep HA2, just on a different page? And furthermore, will the layout be cooler? I hope its not the one i posted in, that looked really plain to me.

No, it's still here at TDC. It's just a different program. Everything will be practically the same.
