I was listening to this really sad song when I thought about my relative that recently died of cancer. Man, this just keeps getting worse... The song helped me to put myself in their shoes, and I actually almost cried... :-*

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Baka Nezumi

My favorite "Granpa" died of brain cancer. Right after he supposedly got better, he passed away. We weren't able to say our thank you's and "I love you"s becuase we thought he would live. That song was really sad.

I'm sorry to hear about your relative, Zelda Verteran, and your Grandpa, Baka Nezumi. My Grandma on my mom's side died of altheimezers (spelling?) just recently. It wasn't cancer, but still pretty bad. I didn't know her very well, because she lived in Ohio, but I wish I could have gotten to know her better.

Hi no Seijin

My grandmother on my mother's side is a breast cancer survivor.  So, um, yeah.  Thought I'd lighten the mood up some.

Thank you, HNS! We needed it.  :)

my grandma survived skin cancer, but my uncle also died of cancer. I know what it's like, its not fair for them to be taken away like that.

I find it hard to belive that they cant come up with some kind of cure... Its just so not fair, there are younger people dying, but they never had a chance to live.

Cancer is the worst, thats may be true, but I think that if we have hope of finding a cure and work hard at it, then maybe it can be attained.

Members in my family and many I know have been affected by cancer...it's just the worst...

this book i read "the five people you meet in heaven" states that when someone is hurt another gets pleasure, and when someone dies, another survives.

hope that helps...

They say that mutations of the body, these things that make creatures change... Cancer is a thing of disorder and mutations, Perhaps humanity has reached a point where it can no longer physically change. The cancer rate compared to other animal species is TINY. And every single day, there's another mutation, in your body and out of it... this is the path of our own creator.

Man can no longer evolve beyond his complexes, the only thing that is there for the sake of man's will and mind for survival.

Man will eventually destroy itself if we do not pay attention to the decay that is becoming of our own genetics. It is the reason why it seems that such things as infertility and cancer seems common, but what is it all in the end? It is what it is, it is nature, and to try to preserve life beyond it's point is nothing more but a vain plea. Perhaps humanity must learn the fatalistic effect of everything, no one can live  forever; what point is there in making one keep living when one already has accepted that he will die one day?

My grampa died of lung cancer that spread throughout his body, he used to smoke, you see. This was nearly ten years ago, and I have long since made my peace, but for some reason, I still see him in dreams...

If we seek to end cancer, then we will also seek to end all things that have changed within man's body.

my grandpapa died of cancer, i was unable to say goodbye to him

MasterKeyX

Man, i feel your pain, I kow how it is to lose someone before you can say goodbye... just know that whoever dies from cancer is at ease and in a better place.

That's true, it was kind of selfish to wish my grandpa to suffer longer just so I wouldn't be sad.

Well, a lot of my mom's side of the family died of cancer :-* It's really sad. They say that this new Stem Cell Research may be the answer. You see, what a disease like this is, is just a wrong connection of DNA strands called nucleotides. You see, DNA looks like a ladder. A connects to T, T connects to A, C connects to G, and G connects to C. When one of those connections goes wrong: C to A, or T to G, it creates a messed up gene that makes a disease. With stem cell research, they can actually go in and FIX that loose connection.

On the same note, they are able to choose now what genes to rearange. In the future, you will be able to customize your baby before its born, or even make an exact replica of yourself. That doesent necissarily mean that it will have the same personality, but they will look EXACTLY how you want them to, that is, if you have the cash. Stem Cell research may be the cure for cancer later on. We learned all of this in my Biology class over the year. My teacher would be proud if he read this message ;D

That was a good explination. Thankies!
