You have to type in the code, yes (but sometimes I just copy and paste snippets of code I've already written and modify them so I don't have to type as much). However, if there are files for it online, you can just copy and paste it into a .cpp file or a .h file and compile it with Dev-C++, provided you have the Allegro library installed. Unfortunately, I've seen no files of it on Google, so after I experimented with the primitives a bit and, needless to say, watched that one Birth by Sleep gameplay video, I decided to write the code myself.

...Not necessarily in that order, of course.
