The First Annual "Desert Colossus's Choice Awards"! (Voting stage)

Well, many of us probably know that the 20th annual Kids' Choice Awards aired on Nickelodeon a few days ago. However, what we DON'T know is how the nominees are nominated. I mean, c'mon! Why the heck won't Nickelodeon ever consider Zelda as a nominee? It seems to me that Nickelodeon, not the kids, choose the nominees--most likely the most popular of what Hollywood is offering today. It also has been suggested that Nickelodeon has rigged the polls so that a certain nominee has an unfair advantage over the other nominees in a category.

I'M here to start a NEW awards ceremony--one that actually has non-rigged polls, and one that actually gives the PEOPLE (us) the right to nominate. That's what awards ceremonies are supposed to be, right? Right!? RIGHT!? Right.

The ceremony will be divided into nineteen categories, which are as follows (it is possible for you to "nominate" another category; just mention it in your post, but be sure to highlight it so I don't miss it):

Nominees will be determined by suggestion--we will have members post their nominees for each category. The top five most popular nominees will move on to the final voting. It is possible (and recommended) for multiple members to nominate the same nominee. The golden part of this is that you can nominate just about ANYTHING for every category, provided that it actually fits the category and if it's appropriate.
