DarkZelda

in ww tetra mentioned that forsaken fortress (now the rest of the thread referd to as ff) used to be a pirate hidout. are these the pirates in ww?

any ideas? ??? ??? ???

medli

you mean the ones in mm?i dunno, but there's something i don't get either:tetra and her crew are part of the royal family, why don't they know it? i'm so confused!

Evilslayer

Because Hyrule is a forgotten Kingdom. Only its legends have survived.

medli

i wish i'd known sooner....then again i've got loads of questions bout all zelda games....

Davros

I reckon you could be right, Dark Zelda. That would be quite cool, but that would mean that the pirates from termina had found a way to enter Hyrule when the "flood" happened. Unless of course the flood effected Termina as well... ;D ;

Shadow Ganon

I reckon the flood did effect Termina and Termina is north to Hyrule Caste. ganon's castle lies at the most northenly part of the map in OoT whilst in windwaker it is only around halfway down underneath tower of the gods. I don't believe that the MM pirates are related to Tetra's Crew however, I do believe that the Pirates Tetra refers to are the MM pirates. To help futher prove this theory if you stick Termina to the north of Hyrule then the Pirates Hidout in MM ends up in pretty much the same place as the Forsaken Fortress in WW. It's just a question of looking at the islands and what fits where.  ;)

Davros

Nice use of Zelda map knowledge Shadow Ganon :) thx for clearing that question up.

Shadow Ganon

lol cheers my friend but up until reading your post on that i thought the fit and position of the islands was all wrong for Hyrule but i believed it to be a way of Nintendo screwin with our minds just to add new places, we have got to remember there is 8oo years inbetween lol. ;)

Evilslayer

Technically, Termina is a different dimention, not someplace north of Hyrule. If you're referring to that mountain with the ring around the top in MM, that's Woodfall. And it's hardly a mountain.

As for Death Mountain, what we see in OoT is just a small part of the mountain. Here is a map I found at Zelda Legends of West Hyrule. It's from AoL, the only game so far to expand beyond the Death Mountain Area.

This is why the games for the NES are my favourites.^_^

Shadow Ganon

I understand your theory but i should point out that map is to the east. I was describing the west. Plus the Sea Chart doesn't seem to fit with Hyrule, is that just Nintendo trying to confuse us? ???

Davros

Possibly... or it could just be that during the time between the last adventure in Hyrule and the flooding of Hyrule people might have moved around and the landscape may have changed significantly. Or it could just be that Nintendo didn't have time to work in a land that fully matched the previous Hyrule. There was a rumour that Nintendo had run out of time and missed a dungeon from Wind waker...

Shadow Ganon

Another dungeon in WW. I thought it was pretty short. That's proberbly why you don't have to do much to get the Nayru's pearl. However this rumour has enraged me even more as they have'nt brought TP out on time. They could of delayed WW to make that perfect aswel. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( :'(

Davros

I agree Shadow Gannon but that's the way it is. It might not be a true rumour but I was suprised to have so little to do in Wind Waker when it came to the final pearl. As for Twilight Princess, I just hope they spend as long as is needed as it's looking increadable at the moment.

Shadow Ganon

Now there is something we can agree on lol. We should join forces to reincarnate my creator. :EVIL LAUGHT: 8)

Davros

Hah... Perhaps. I may be able to delay the armagadon for a bit longer for your master...
