How do you get over a mental block?

I have a huge mental block and have not been able to post in HA2 because of it.  Any tips?

My favorite thing to do is to act out the scene in question.  I usually go over maybe three, four, five different scenarios before I'm able to go on.

If you write frequently, try to write something that is calling your attention right now. Sometimes you have to get those things out of the way to get to where you are needed.
Or if you're trying to write about a situation, try to put yourself in a place that reminds you of that particular situation. What I do then is to try to describe it to myself as I do it (like walking around the house with the lights off).

IDK... Each mind is unique and very complex, try to see if that works for you.

Maybe you could also use your dreams to give you ideas? You know, see if you could make the scenarios in your dreams somewhat compatible with what you're trying to do.

I don't have mental blocks. I have art blocks.

And I hate cube-shaped things. (no offense, 'cube.)

Er, I get over them by sketching out my dreams... or doodling. I'm not sure it really works for you, you know. >_>

I like to assume that I am the character. It helps, I just try to imagine what's running through their head at the moment.

I do the same thing fisk does. i just keep on trying to draw or write. And sometimes I write out everything im thinking, that way theres nothing in my way of thinking about what I want to think about.  ;)
