Hi no Seijin

For ten seconds the other day, I seriously considered being a stand up comedian.  And then for the past couple of things, it's been floating around the back of my head.  So what do you guys think?  Is it something I should at least try out?

No.  Unless of course you want to, in which case yes.

darkphantomime

I vote no. For a marketable reason of course: Humor following the english language does nothing less but incite mass rioting and hysteria.

OF BOREDOM!

No, didn't you know?  He's going to be a stand-up comedian-- but he's going to talk in Zulu!

Actually, I was thinking Swahili.

Oh, and JQ, if I want negative feedback, I'll tell my dad I'm thinking about being a stand up comedian.

If what you talk about is like your humor in TLoBB, then I say go for it. :D

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Hi no Seijin

See, I thought about using a lot of video game references, but then I would lose the generation that kind of came before video games.  Try to have as a broad range as you can, right?

Piece of advice: set up a recorder and try all kinds of whatever you're trying to do.

Then wait until midnight and get friendly with Amber Longneck. Then record yourself while you're brainsplittingly slammed.

See the difference?

If you're a really good comedian, there won't be a difference.

Hi no Seijin

Let's see, I don't have a hand held recorder, I can't afford one, and the recording program on my computer only records for 60 seconds at a time.  Send me a recorder/tell me where I can find a better recorder online?

I advise against getting majorly slammed, HNS.  :P

Download Audacity.

It's the best voice recorder program for free out there, and you can also use it as a voice changer to have fun with your friends.

darkphantomime

That's only because you're using the Trial Version. Either find a free, open source program that does the same or pay up.
