I think we've spent so much of our energy on these night-long bursts of 30-page posting or so that we've exhausted our resources.

But it's not just that... there aren't as many people online any more, either, on top of the fact that there hasn't been much activity. There were two things about the forums that changed:

1.) The upgrade
2.) The new banner.

We seem to have gotten more people online after the upgrade, but after the banner change, it seems like fewer people come around any more.

Wait, never mind, we only got the new banner a few days after the upgrade.

EDIT: After looking at the forum statistics, here's what I've gathered:

There were a total of 8456 posts in July; quite a lot. There have been 1382 posts made so far this month; however, that's only 16% of July's posts in 25% of the time. That's a drop in activity if I've seen one.
