Ahem* yes. I can't believe I was EVER appointed a mod. In all honesty, I was a noob back when Jack appointed me. And during that short noobhood I tried to get Jack banned from TDC XDDD

Ahhh... I was so young and stupid. And still Jack appointed me with modship. I learned a lot from him in the time he was here, and I respect that man more than most men I've met in real life. Here's to Jack~

Hmm, indeed. I'm intrigued.

Yeah, We were all a bunch of noobz here, and Jack was starting to crack down on the rules- like heavily. Everybody was complaining about it over PM's, so I typed up a big thing telling Jack why he was making the place suck. I misspelled darn near every other word I'm sure, and I was probably being a spoiled brat about it, for lack of a better term. Jack got stern with me, and told me a whole bunch of logic that I probably didn't understand back then.

One thing he said still sticks out in my mine however, and that was "I'll run my site how I see fit." Even after all of that, he forgave me, and when he appointed the mods, and he selected me, I was naturally shocked. I remember asking him why, and he said "You seem to be the 'leader' of the wave a new members, and I think it'd be best if they had some kind of representative." That wasn't exactly what he said, but thats just about all I remember about it.

I still respect Jack so much... I learned a few valuable lessons from him, and I believed he helped shape me into the person I am today. He was really the only role model I had back then besides my Dad. Heh heh... I remember Jack used to refer to us as "The Spam Brigade". Good times. ^__^

I joined a month before Shika, and became a mod around the same time as him.

I think It's fairly obvious why GF made me a mod, but if it's not, go ahead and enlighten them, GF.

For the mod appointments a year ago, I chose who I thought were the most capable people for the job.  People who were passionate for upholding the rules of this site.

But not only that.  But these people were able to get along with everyone, and were able to make unbiased choices in warnings and bannings, and I'd say we've been tested this past month (week) in displaying that.
