Does Technician give attacks like that the same multiplier as a STAB bonus? If so, if you cube three over two...that's twenty-seven over eight. Basically a 3.375 damage multiplier per punch? Double that (for the two hits) and you get a whopping 6.75 damage multiplier, meaning a revised base stat of 304.25 for the entire attack?

...

Whoa.

Y'know, playing a game from the start again made me realize how much I love Geodude. He's a bruiser right at the beginning, same with Onyx. Love those two.

The funny thing is that i am probably one of the few people that understood you magmarfire...

DarkZelda

Imma going old school, but Articuno and Clefable are mine.
I rasied a Clefairy level 10 to Clefable level 83 (+Moonstone) and annialated Elite Four with it and its attacks Pound, Metronome, Strength, and Blizzard.
Hahaha Pokemon Red baby.

DW

Articuno was DEFINITELY my favorite bird. Entei was my favorite legendary dog...

I liked blue. Even though there is no difference. My favorite legendaries are, Raikou, Articuno, and Mew. So kawaii...

Zelda Veteran

Yeah, STAB also applies, I forgot to add that to the equation.
Ambipom = Beastly.

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Pale Dim

Typhlosion, Moltres, Suicune, Rayquaza, Metagross, and Kyogre all the way! However...give me a Typhlosion anyday. I love Typhlosions. :D

Math

Spammage aside, you know how if a pokemon does a move the same type as it s own, it gets a multiplier of 1.5? (for ex: squirtle + water gun, water gun= 40. 40 x 1.5 = 60 damage). Does that apply to normal pokemon + normal moves, too? It's normal, so it has no type, but it's the same un-type, so it has to be, but it can't...

I used to absolutely adore Pikachu back when Pokemon cards and the show were all the rage at school, but after actually playing a few of the games... I don't know. I really like Charizard since I have such fond memories of raising him from a Charmander and then beating the crap out of any opponent that dared challenge me, but then my copy of "Blue" erased itself and my progress.

Lolololololol I could so quote you if I wanted to but I'm not gonna XDDDD

Hmm...Idk, probably Dragonite. And Sandshrew/Sandslash.
I liked all the pokemon a lot, my bro, I think, got me interested in Pokemon (and school, of course. People were trading cards left and right all over the place. The bus, the playground, wow XDDD)
I think Jigglypuff was my favorite Pokemon back then. (I can sorta do Jigg's voice too XDD)

I would assume so.

Normal is a type.  It's just not a very remarkable type.

That would be the STAB ("same-type attack bonus"). ;) And yes, it applies to Normal-types, too.

That link is win, by the way. :P

You have no idea how much I want to try that next time I take my ACT.

MagmarFire

Try what, now, Gamefreak? Was it the math, by any chance?
