I was talking with DarkZelda and we were reminiscing. She mentioned how we found tdc because we were bored during computer apps class in ninth grade and how we used to talk to zv and peatear griffin there all the time.

So this made me wonder.  Did everyone find tdc in amusing ways?
Please do tell.

Twilight Wolf

My sister (TP Zelda for the few of you still unaware) wanted me to join.

Here I am.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Keaton

I was looking up whether or not the fairy-deku stick trick actually worked.

Here I am.

Uximadesk

I found it through one of Melora's drawings hosted here, I think it was the one of Volvagia and Link. Anyway, it became my favorite page due to it's easy-to-get-into layout and other original features (ask ezlo, the caption game, and the now gone jukebox)

Darth Wyndisis

I think I found it through an affiliate, Zelda Universe perhaps.  It's been so long.

Gamefreak

I was trying to find video game sites that my school didn't block with it's horrible, horrible, site block system.

That's right, Gamefreak broke the rules.

alical

I can't really remember.
I'm pretty sure it was just by searching 'Zelda' or something in Google, but it may have been by clicking a link on another Zelda site.

MagmarFire

I stumbled across Ask Ezlo on Google. The rest is history.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Hi no Seijin

I came here through The Grand Adventures.

I ended up here while looking up game guides on Google. This turned out to be a very reliable source! Then, I saw the artwork, loved it, saw the unique caption game that was completely unknown to me at the time, asked a few questions on Ask Ezlo, got some good info, and finally, I looked at the forums, and saw that it was a pleasant place. So, this became the first forum I ever joined, and today, is basically the only one I actually visit.

DH92 told me to. Even though, at the time, my knowledge of zelda didn't exceed what he's told me.  ;)

To Gamefreak: Yeah, school blocking systems aren't exactly approved by the public anymore. All the good, appropriate websites are blocked, while, not too long ago, a friend of mine was looking up a very profane website. Hintity hint hint. He was almost suspended, and just a few days ago, a new friend of mine was attempting to jump off a building because, and this is his reason: "An educational website said it was alright". Dummy.

As for me too.

Found it at home, tried it at school.
