Rabies, in Platinum, Snorunt can be found by walking around Acuity Lakefront, Lake Acuity, and Route 217 at night with a 20% chance of encountering it.  There's a 10% chance that you'll encounter Snorunt on Route 216 at night.

For Diamond and Pearl, use the PokeRadar at any time of day when you're on Route 216, Route 217, or Acuity Lakefront.

Well, i got me a male and female snorunt, and to my luck after my chain hunting them i got two shinies in a row.

How far are you on it? I've gotten 3 stars on my TC already, from the Eilte 4, the pokeathelon, and uh... something else... Oh the golden leaves.
