To my knowledge, Pokemon chat is only in the General Discussion and Chatboard areas, two places where that kind of chat is encouraged.  It isn't as though we're posting news about Pokemon in the Announcements section.  ^^;;

Pokemon is something, besides Zelda, that many members here have a common interest in.  Telling them to limit their discussion of it is like telling the wind not to blow.  I haven't followed the Pokemon series since Gold and Silver came out, and I do not feel like giving in to the current Pokemon craze (or whatever you want to call it), so that pretty much stops me from being a part of any serious Pokemon conversation.  But I'm okay with that.  Would you rather have a bunch of people ditch this place until Spirit Tracks gets released?  Also, it's not like the few Pokemon topics in GD are redundant.

I would understand if there were multiple topics about Pokemon, but you can't tell people to stop posting about it just because it's a more popular subject at the moment. They can post about whatever they want, so long as they're not cluttering the board with topics, I suppose.

I mean it's kind of not even a Zelda forum now. Even though we have sections for every Zelda game, They get no posts, whatsoever. I would rather make this a all video game site ( KH, TLoZ, Mario, Pokemon, FF, etc.) It would add new popularity to the site, and I am quite profriecent(sp?) at my Kingdom Hearts.

Honestly, it has been a bit dull around here without Jack (no offense to anyone)...but that was a very long time ago, who knows if it'd still be the same even if Jack WAS still here. It could possibly still be dull. The site was still pretty new then, too. I probably also just think it was not as dull then because the site was new to me, everyone was new to me, and I was also very easily excited back then. I think Gamefreak, Kamikaze (sorry if I spelled his name wrong...XP) and Tacheon work really hard to keep this site going. I don't really want to say anything because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings or offend anyone, I feel like I am going to, though...

If you hate Pokemon so much, don't post in the Pokemon topics.  It's really that simple.

And if you want the boards to clear out until Spirit Tracks is released, by all means, stop visiting until then.  No one is stopping you; however, I, as well as plenty of others, still wish to use the General Discussion and Chatboard categories that Jack has provided for us for these Zelda dry spells.

I'm not trying to fight a battle! I'm trying to make a treaty! Anyway, the message I was attempting to convey was to try to post more in the Zelda section and not clutter the few Pokemon topics.
