Just wondering, has anybody purchased or played Madden 2010?  I am curious because when Madden 08 came out for the Wii, I questioned whether it was worth ever buying another Madden game.  It seemed like EA made a halfhearted effort to throw a lousy excuse for a game together.  I mean, there was just so much wrong with it.

It's a football game, people. No crazy plot twists, no sword fights, no unexpected shoot-outs... not even any tear jerking moments. It's always going to be the same thing with different graphics and updated rosters. I could see it being a game worth buying if you started off just playing ball with the guys, and wind up going pro with a story and all that, but... It's JUST A FOOTBALL GAME.

Nope havent got it yet, but ive played NCAA '10 and that game is pretty much kick butt

Exactly... It's pretty much the same thing over and over and over again from what I see, with maybe a few added features now and then. Other than that...what's the point?

It would be nice if they would just make it so you could update the rosters for each new season.  Also, I don't think any of the Madden games since 06 let you create teams, create players, or design your own plays.  Heck, even they did have the feature where you could design your own plays, it still sucked.  You'd be lucky to design a running play where the quarterback could successfully hand off the ball let along design a triple reverse wide receiver option pass... *grumbles*  Don't get me wrong, I still like playing the games, but it would be so much better if EA didn't release games that are so crappy.
