FINE FINE! It is, but it doesn't change the fact that I want the game!

Dating sims are fun.  They make you work for your porn.

I agree, it's the same with Visual Novels.

Speaking of which, I wonder if UnisonSoft is going to release a new game anytime soon.

*Zips off to website*

Also, to quote Doujin work...

Tsuyuri: "We're going to go buy a game."

Najimi: "Knowing you guys, it's a perverted game, isn't it?"

Justice: "Yes."

Tsuyuri: "But it makes you cry too."

Twilight Wolf

NEW VEGAS HAS GONE GOLD! :D

Two weeks until it's out... I can't wait!
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Hi no Seijin

Only two more days until Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is out, and then the next day is Epic Mickey!
Best.  Cane.  EVER!
Secretary of Lolcats; I won the MagmarFire Award for 2/21/08!

Anybody else here interested in Kirby's Epic Yarn? It actually does look kinda interesting. As does 007 Goldeneye.

Goldeneye is the first Wii game I've been legitimately interested in for years.

Kirby looks cute, though.

Also, PORTAL 2, APRIL 11 2011.

YES

Cutely interesting.  It came out earlier this month, right?

Wow, for real?

Brawl's been out for about 2.5 years now, and I don't strike him as a Metroid guy. But then again, Super Mario Galaxy 2's been out for a while, too.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Other M was actually pretty depressing, wasn't that great.

I disagree. While I felt the ending to be anticlimactic (the epilogue made up for it, though) and that the creators seem to have explicitly disregarded the Prime trilogy's place in canon, it was a good game.

Besides, you can't deny the hype that was building for the game before its release.

I actually didn't feel too much of the hype.

I went and got it for around $30 played throught it and just found it unsatisfying, it couldn't deliver the way the 2D games do with 3rd person and how the Prime games did with first.

It's like it was stuck in a sort of... Mediocre limbo.

Twilight Wolf

The last Wii game I really looked forward to was SSBB, but it was rather... underwhelming, I guess. It's fun, but I think it's pretty overrated. :/

After that... nothing particularly struck my fancy. Other M looked interesting, sure, but Metroid is one of those several series that's kind of stuck in limbo to me -- I'm interested enough in them to consider trying them but never enough to follow through on it, and my money goes toward games I know I'll play. (Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty are two other such series.)

As for Super Mario Galaxy 2, I loved the original, but other games and systems took up my time and I never got around to finishing it, so I never checked out the sequel.

Now, Goldeneye... I love the N64 game. Now they've remade it for a semi-modern console with online play and a cool controller to go with it? Hell yeah I'm interested. But will I buy it? Hard to say...

But it was there. At the same time, though, I'm not denying that the game is polarizing.

I won't say this will change your opinion about it or anything, but have you considered hacking?
