1.)  Cullen's fangirls are probably far more stupid than Elric's fangirls, so that's not an advantage.

2.)  The fact that Elric was willing to sacrifice his right arm to bond his brother's soul to a suit of armor and that he succeeded in doing so is worth several points in Elric's favor.
