Hi no Seijin

She got tired of Link eating faeries to replenish his health.
Best.  Cane.  EVER!

Davros

umm... What proof do you have that Link actually EATS the faeries...

Hi no Seijin

None whatsoever.  Hence why it was a joke.  A bit of Link bashing since no one on this site seems to want to do it.

Oh, God.  There's a lot of Etna loli out there, so forgive me for being frightened of your name.

Yeah, Link bashing's fun, but it's best left to the professionals.  Step aside, kids.

IronKnuckle

Ok heres one.

Why were two temple of times built (the one in OOT and the one in TP)? Why was it neccesary to move it from castle town to the middle of the lost woods.

Keaton

Isn't it obvious?  The Lost Woods was Castle Town.  TP takes place in a post-apocalyptic nightmareland, where the old Hyrule Castle was razed and a new one erected several miles away.

Everything else stayed in the same place relent to castle town, they can't have moved castle town unless the moved lake hylia and death mountian as well ::).
TP is in the child timeline anyway, so the town was never razed.

Bboy94

The ToT in OoT is the one that you go to from the portal to get to the innards of the ToT. So after you put the sword back in in OoT, the staircase appears, but Link goes back in time so you never see it. The place in LttP is the same as the one in TP, only in LttP its almost all gone.

darkphantomime

Wait, what staircase? And you're telling me that he got transported from one Temple of Time to another? So basically, the 'new' temple of time is supposed to be the temple of light?

Keaton

Holy crap, people.  I was just being stupid, don't take my sarcasm seriously.

You're going to die from that much stupid if you don't watch out.

Wait, I thought the Triforce of Courage was split into eight in the child timeline. Then TP Link wouldn't have had it whole to begin with if TP were in the child timeline.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Commodore Axilon

The Wind Waker is in the adult timeline, so the ToC would've had to have been split in the adult timeline as well.

[Note: I don't actually believe this. As a linearist, I'm just playing devil's advocate here. Don't freak out now.]

It was split in 8, in the adult timeline (thats why you have to gather the 8 in WW). In the Child timeline it went to TP link.

Commodore Axilon

So...do you not bother to read other peoples' posts, or what?

No that's not it, I'm just backing up what you said.
