Mags, it isn't just the satisfaction of having a physical copy -- Tool's albums actually have REALLY awesome packaging designs. Think stuff like CD cases with holographic artwork or built-in stereoscopic glasses. (The latter, 10,000 Days, won the band a Grammy for Best Album Packaging.)

That's very true, as well. Case in point: Metroid Prime Trilogy. DAT METAL CASE. :O

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

They never put any of the good Star Wars games out for GameCube.  It makes me angry.  Rogue Squadren games are fun, but I was disapointed with Rebel Strike, which I got last Christmas.  They cut down WAY too much on the flying missions and focus too much on the pilot running around on the ground shooting people.  The ground fighting is underdeveloped and not much fun.  I could see it being better being like a good first person shooter, but it is that third person mode where the camera doesn't follow the guy around the room.  The best part of Rebel Strike is the Co-op and Dogfight modes.  Co-op uses the missions from RS: Rogue Leader, which are entirely air missions, and frankly a lot better.

Come to think of it, I can't think of many third-party games for the GameCube.

I couldn't agree more.  The underdeveloped ground fighting makes the game much less enjoyable.  It's surprising that they even released the game the way it was.  I mean, how many uninterrupted flying missions are there?  The missions where you get to operate the AT-STs are fun though.  I don't see why they couldn't have used the same camera system with the pilot running around as they do with the ships, walkers, or speeder bikes.  If they had improved the ground fighting parts and cut them down to like a third of what they are, then replaced all that with air missions, the game would have been much better.  It just seems crazy that they made such a big improvement on flying missions, then cut back on them so much.

I'm glad you agree.

HAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAaaaaaa

That is too good.  Well, I guess it's a good thing that I agree with my past self on something.

May I ask what possessed you to do such a dastardly thing?

Eh. Boredom will drive a man to do many things...

Like ball in a cup, the yo-yo, or Rosie O'Donnel.

Not even if I was the most bored man in the world.

I had almost forgotten that Rosie O'Donnel even existed.

For performing such a brilliant experiment, I'm giving you the MagmarFire Award for this month. Sheer brilliance.

I'm going to try that some time when no one will ever expect it.
