i heard that this fairy is only going to be on the Wii version of the game, so if is not on the game cube, is not something important for the story, but... in PH theres a fairy...

I'm no fan of Navi.  I wish she would go away.  But maybe Link did find Navi, if you go with Nintendo's official story.  Also, PH takes place a few months after TWW, which takes place hundreds of years after OoT and MM.  So if that faerie in PH is indeed Navi, it isn't the same Link.

They live forever unless someone stops believing in them.  Then they die.  Sarcasm aside, you are right, we don't know how long faeries live.  That's why we can only speculate.

They don't age, so they don't die of old age.  They can probably die if someone kills them, but I don't see that happening.

Eh, Kokiri don't age... but tales goes that they will die outside the forest. Or as in the Lost woods, turn into cute little dangerous flute playing/shooting things.

As for Link, he is not a Kokiri, he is a Hylian...
